The club itself seems constructed well. The grip is nice and feels good in the hand. It comes with a nice fake leather head cover, as well. I want to start by saying I am far from a scratch golfer; I would compare myself to more of the social beverage kind of golfer with a decade of experience. My chipping really sucked prior to this and now it is better but still needs help. With this club I have been able to be more consistent in my shots, getting the ball on or closer to the pin than I have in the past. I have even been able to get some backspin on the ball. I also do not feel and no one has noticed any flex with this club when I swing it. Overall, all I am satisfied but need to continue practicing my short game.

I don't play a TON of golf so when I needed a new wedge, I was hesitant to pay the crazy prices for a Cleveland or Ping. I have been using a Ben Hogan 52 degree for about 20 years now and I was shocked at how far they have come in that time. This one has a nice sharp blade that glides through the turf without decelerating. The face is nice and rough and I have been parking balls on the green. If even get them to back up occasionally which was something I used to only see on TV. I typically only use steel shafts for my irons just for control. So I was a little nervous about this one being graphite shaft. But the shaft is very stiff with very little flex. The grip is nice and grippy and it comes with a nice synthetic leather head cover. The graphics are very professional and nice looking. It looks and feels like a very expensive stick.

I got the 52 degree club and it has quickly become my go-to from 60-70 yards and has also come in handy for longer sand shots. The club is pretty forgiving and I like the silky feel I get from the graphite shaft. I also like the look of the black club head and the little bit of extra head weight. I get plenty of spin from this club and it seems to hold well on greens from short range. I also holed one from a bunker with this club right after I got it, so it's earned a spot in my bag. This club is becoming more and more reliable as I use it and it will definitely be with me for quite a while.

This clubs senior style is super well built, can be easily handled with a grooved handle, and is a great gift. Loft was in point, and for the slower swinging fellas gives lots of forgiveness

I am by no means a professional player nor have the knowledge for clubs. This 56 wedge has a heavy head and a regular shaft, though it states “S” on the shaft which stands for “stiff” to my knowledge. The grooves are deep and designed to provide more grip and spin. I have a swing speed of 90-95, I know that wedges are not swung like drivers, but I don’t feel the swing and contact with this wedge as I do with my other wedges with a steel shaft. I think this wedge is perfect for a player with slow swing speeds and a solid swing, as the description states. The heavy head provides additional acceleration on the down swing and might provide some additional distance. Overall I would recommend it for slow swing speed players.
