Due to the mixed reviews I decided to try this and see for myself. My daughter and I tried it with mascara and without. Without mascara it did curl my lashes but it did not last very long and did not curl as well as my conventional Revlon crimper. With my daughter’s lashes it only would curl the lashes on the outside corners even with following the instructions and watching various youtube videos trying different techniques I will say that my lashes have a slight curl naturally and my daughters go straight down. With mascara, it consolidated/clumped my lashes together making it look like I only had 10-11 lashes and I could not get them to separate using a spooly. The curl did fall within about 30 min. We curled our lashes with both the high (green light) and medium/low heat settings (yellow). In the end, I returned it and went back to my traditional crimper.

I love this thing… I feel like anyone who doesn’t either has a defective one or isn’t using correctly? I have the shortest eyelashes… I’m trying to work on it with some lash serum and it works when I use it…. But because they’re so short, they just kind of stick straight out. I put mascara on and they are still short and stick out straight. They curl a little the more mascara I put on….. with this curler, I hold it at the base of my lashes for just a few seconds, and they literally curl straight up, so you see them against my eyelids!!!! It’s perfect!! I love it so much I feel like a paid advertiser lol!!! It heats up super quickly. I hold it right at the base of my lashes, and it only feels a little warm. It has never come close to feeling hot or burning or anything. I literally have nothing bad to say about it. It’s amazing. The difference in my lashes is a 100% improvement. I love it! Period! I contemplated buying the cheaper generic version because I didn’t think it would work due to the reviews, but honestly I’m glad I spent the extra money and got the name brand one because this is perfect. I love it! So worth every penny! Absolutely NO complaints or constructive criticism. It turns on quickly and easily, heats up quickly, turns off easily, easy to use…. So so happy with it!!!

This thing is the bomb. I don’t know what any of you people who gave a bad review are talking about. I’m pretty sure you either got a bad unit and didn’t know to return it or you don’t know how to use it. It was easy to use my husband like plugged it in and everything for me and brought it to me charged showed me how to turn it on I literally went to the mirror and curled my eyelashes with no mascara. I’ve never been able to do that. I actually have an eye problem right now my eyes are super sensitive and I was able to do this without any harm to my eye. Because I actually had eyelashes curling down into my eye and stabbing me in my eye again and this helped me. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody. Boys and girls. You never know when you’re going to have to get your eyelashes to get out of your eye because you slept on them or some thing. This thing is the bomb. Extremely buy it right now. And like I said I’m a licensed cosmetologist of over 10 years. Just put it in your other hand and learn how to become ambidextrous that’s all you need to do. With make up this is a real thing. If you want your one eye to look like your other eye you can’t suppose you could always use the same hand to do everything. If you can figure out how to do both eyelashes with your right hand you’re a genius maybe you have to turn the curler instead but I’m careful because that’s my eye. And like I said I’m having some crazy eye inflammation right now. So I’m gonna say it’s safe for anybody who has normal eyes, fasho. Update: Don’t stay curled for me bc I don’t use mascara.

Im not sure why there is any bad reviews on this thing because this thing has changed my life! So easy to use and curls your lashes so good!! I have had if for a year now an its still going strong! If it breaks ill buy another cuz its awesome!

This does work best with a coat of mascara on but wow !! I’m super happy with this thing and I’m getting my daughter one too now ! Super impressive ❤️

Compré esto porque una tiktoker que hace la crema de arroz para la cara lo recomendó, y de hecho, vi las referencias y quise darle la oportunidad, siento que perdí casi 40$ comprando este producto, realmente debes invertirle alrededor de media hora a este proceso, es muy muy demorado así lo pongas en el botón verde para más calor, cuando el producto se pone blanco está listo para usar, pero olvídenlo, media hora en la primera aplicación, luego procedes al rímel, y nuevamente 20 minutos más aproximadamente en volver a poner el calor en estas pestañas, al principio se ven fabulosas, pero si eres como yo que las tienen bastante largas y rectas, no funcionará, mucho trabajo invertido para que en alrededor de dos horas tus pestañas vuelvan a Verse rectas… has perdido casi una hora de tu vida para que el efecto se vaya en solo dos horas! Una decepción total, prefiero seguir usando mis pestañas postizas al salir y solo demoro Máximo 10 min si me dan problemas, a veces lo logro en 5 min! Esto lo había comprado para dejar de usar pestañas postizas, pero veo que volveré a ellas. Para mí, este producto no funcionó para nada! Irá a la caja de las cosas que no volveré a usar a menos que me sobre muchísimo tiempo para arreglarme, y evidentemente lo llevaría en la cartera cargando para retocar luego de las dos horas!! 😕😫

This does absolutely nothing for your lashes, mascara or not. I’ve tried multiple times with different mascaras and it does absolutely nothing to lift or curl your lashes. An old fashioned lash curler works much better. Don’t waste your money.
