I had to cut/hard wire this into my truck's system. It wasn't difficult. I did like the brightness of the cargo light and brake light. Heck of a lot brighter than the OEM one. I would recommend this for sure but you would need to know basic 12V wiring and have some heat shrink butt connectors to make sure the job is done right and permanent. ... show more

Lights look great, work great but although they say they fit 2005 F150, the brackets to hold them in place did not match what is on my truck. Had to do some alterations to get them to install securely.

    • The connectors are very weird

They do not work when plugged in. But when you barely touch them together, they will come on. I’m going to have to splice into the wires to make them actually work but I don’t trust the lights if the simple connectors don’t work like they should.
