I ordered a size up, since I looked at the chart and it suggested that my bust size would be a large, so I went with that. I wore this to my daughter's graduation, but I needed some assistance to get into it. The zipper is on the left side but it is too dainty for the material and the ribbon that goes around the dress is too close to the zipper so it makes it hard to zip the dress, even with help. Even ordering a size up from what I normally wear, the dress was a little too tight just under my bust where the ribbon is. The lace on the outside of the dress had a couple of catches already, but they were small, so I wasn't bothered too much. There were also some loose threads sticking up and those were carefully removed. Once on, the dress was very pretty, didn't bunch or droop, and was comfortable even in the heat. ... show more

I love the fit and color of this dress, the green is the perfect color! The zipper is put in an unusual place and is not of great quality, I am not sure how long it will hold up, but if you sew it would be an easy thing to replace it with a much better zipper, also I will be adding a clip at the top of the zipper to hold the material together to make easier zipping. ... show more

I think this piece is fantastic, and cannot wait to wear it out! I got it in green, which is a great color. The zipper, however, is very dainty and of mediocre quality, it gets stuck along the lace every time I try to zip it. I forsee this probably breaking in the near future, but I'm decent at replacements. Great look and a fabulous fit even for a chunky girl like me! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ll be honest, I didn’t have high expectations. Dresses are so hot or miss. However, I was blown away by this dress. Starting off, it’s very comfy. I’m normally a size 6 or medium in dresses and the medium fit me perfectly. The lace is very soft and the dress also has a liner on the inside. The material is a bit stretchy so while I’m a 34C and it looks form fitting, it could still easily stretch for larger cups and still look great. The shoulder strap didn’t feel too tight or too loose. The bottom of the dress also has great movement to it. The very bottom hit just under my ankle, about the top of my foot. For reference, I’m 5’7” so anyone shorter, this might have more of a long, whimsical look and touch the ground. The zipper goes down pretty far so I didn’t have any issues getting the dress on. The halfway point is about where the ribbon is and continues into the chiffon. The zipper hides really well into the material. The lace is pretty close to the zipper. I didn’t have any issues but I’d warn to be careful when putting the dress on so it doesn’t accidentally catch. I ordered the “Blush” color and found it to look exactly like the product photos. My pictures look lighter and more dull that it looks in person. The chiffon isn’t perfectly solid, wore black underwear while trying it on and I could see the slight color different. Nothing major, wearing underwear close to your skin tone should be the perfect fix. It also has hanging loops. Many online dresses seem to miss this feature. For straps that aren’t adjustable, I always worry they’d stretch. These loops are sewn in further down so they still aren’t stretching right along the top edges. $45 is a bit on the high end but it’s a beautiful dress. I loved the way it looked at it somehow managed to help me look past areas that I’m normally self conscious about like my hips or tummy. It’s well made and very comfortable. Overall, I think this is a really pretty dress I like it comes off on shoulder and I like the material it’s a lace on top with a silky cotton blend at the bottom if it’s kind of well it is a little bit big for a medium, so keep that in mind, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s true to size, but I think you should still order your size I can’t see going down or up if you’re on a smaller size medium I would order a small you can tell the picture it does look a little big but overall it doesn’t affect. The beauty of the dress to dress is well-made nice color, average fit and very beautiful and I would consider it a true form dress, I would consider it more as a dinner evening dress, or even for the office. ... show more

The dress is simply gorgeous. I fell in love with it when I opened the package, and even more so once I wore it. It fits perfectly, and the color is vibrant. It falls to the ankles, and the fabric feels very good. I am concerned about the lace lasting long enough to be worn a few times because I saw a couple of threads sticking out.
