The height is nice but be careful if you do not have high ceilings. Very impressed with the product. Everything about it shows that the business cares about their product and wants to to be a great experience for the customer. The packaging is makes sure nothing is scratched, the wood is solid, and the hardware works without breaking anything. The only small issue I have so far is that most of the hardware is painted but that paint falls off almost as soon as the hardware is used. The hardware looks nice naturally so I would be ok with it not being painted. However, I am very impressed and glad I spent more on this than getting a discount bunk bed. ... show more

Well designed. Good materials. Sturdy. Only con is that there needs to be double the number of slats. There’s like a foot between slats which is way too much. Now I have to buy two support boards to support my mattresses properly.

This bed is awesome. I lined all parts up and followed directions carefully. It took me about 3 hours to assemble alone. The steel bar is a nice added piece that many other bunk beds don’t have. I tested out the weight capacity. It can hold 400lbs and I’m 210. I got up on the top bunk and rolled around. It was very sturdy and did not creak. I really like the open design of it as well. Other beds have head and foot boards that enclose the space but my little girls love how open and fun it is:) I also love how the ladder is on the end instead of hanging over the front - which would cause the bedding to bunch against it. The ladder is not too hard or difficult for my 6 year old to climb to the top bunk. There is ample space under the bed as well for storage bins. And there is no extra leg under the bed like others that would cause bins to jam against or get caught on. We all really like this great bunk bed. I was definitely on the fence with this one against some others, and I’m glad I went with this one:) ... show more

Love it. My hubby was the one who choose it for our kids. One is 9 and other is 5. They sleep like a baby on it. I even lay on the bottom one sometimes to chill when they go to school. But I never went on top of the bunkbed. Very secure. But when putting it together you have to be very precise in other for the screw to go in. We love it. And no money waste. I moved it a lot so that I can fix the top bunkbed when Iam changing the sheet. So far so good. No complain. We purchased a 5 inches mattress and it is perfect for our twin bunkbed. Not difficult to assemble. Very flimsy, though boys haven’t broken it yet. I’m 5’6” 135lb and I feel iffy every time I climb up to change the sheets. For a boys bed to last them through childhood before they get the grown up teenage bed, this will do. Great value for what we got. I would NOT suggest this for an Airbnb place. We are fully expecting to switch out this bed in 5 years. That’s how long we expect it to last. ... show more
