I was looking for a low profile bunkbed for our 7.5' ceilings with a ladder on the end (as opposed to the side), and this was exactly what I was looking for! I love the floor bed for my son, and the upper bunk is gives my daughter plenty of clearance to sit up while also allowing me to straighten the bed fairly easily (they are four and seven). The ladder is comfortable on her feet while being nice and out of the way. The instructions are less clear than your average IKEA product, but I still figured it out pretty easily. I bet it took me about 2-3 hours start to finish putting it together by myself while my kids were home. I would absolutely buy it again if I needed another bed. This manufacturer and seller should get an award for how well packed this piece of furniture was and how well thoroughly well thought out EVERY component was. My friend has put together MANY, MANY pieces of furniture over the last 30+ years and this piece definitely stands out in every way. It is a very sold (not wobbly) set of bunkbeds and looks great. Color is just like the photos. I love it. Exactly what I was looking for and it is sturdy. It took me 2.5 hours to unbox and put together by myself. Not too bad. I took off a star because although everything was accounted for and the instructions were sufficient, there were 2 peg holes that just weren’t there at all which was quickly remedied with my drill and there was atleast one misprint in the instructions for the part number of some of the screws. First I was scared when I saw the 24 pages of instructions and the box of screws, but the instructions were very clear, I did it by myself in just a total of 6 hours (had to take breaks because of my job) and I am older! If I had help to have someone hold some of the pieces of the original part of the frame it probably would have gone much quicker. Very solid, no scratches or dings.
