    • Unpasted paper - beautiful - but before you install.....
This unpasted paper is thick and the pattern is lovely, but before you install, be sure the rolls you have are from the same lot. My two rolls were not and I didn't realize until I started putting the second roll on the wall. Between the two lots, the colors were slightly different and the pattern did not easily line up. Customer services was terrific and I received a refund, but I was way bummed to have to pull this beautiful paper down and throw it away. I used liquid starch to adhere this paper to the ceiling of my office. The liquid starch allows for easy removal, but I will admit, it's lack of immediate tackiness made for a very challenging install. Since then I have replaced it with a grey leaf pattern contact paper, which I was able to install on the ceiling myself in just about 2.5 hours. The immediate stickiness of the contact paper made applying to the ceiling so much easier. However, if I ever wallpaper another wall (not a ceiling!), I will use an unpasted paper and the liquid starch method again since it was SUPER easy to remove. I pulled the whole sheets, completely intact, off the ceiling in about 2min. The starch adhered well - the Aura Grey Wallpaper was up on the ceiling for about 2 months before I was ready to tackle the replacement. ... show more

It is heavy wallpaper and stunning! the background is more of a cool grey-blue and the pattern is hand-size with a raised pattern with a little sparkle - not a lot. It's subtle. It's so beautiful it might wind up on a feature wall in the family room rather than the room it was planned for!
