When it's a few weeks before graduation and the place you were supposed to get a "free cap and gown" from never actually delivers it to your school, this is the optimal backup plan. The texture of it is matte and fits as expected according to the size chart. Not too hot if you're graduating in the warmer months, but don't rely on it for warmth if you're graduating in winter. The cap was easily customizable if you're looking to put stickers or other decorations on it to celebrate. Great quality for the price point, and the fast shipping was appreciated!

Love the thickness of the gown, not cheap like some. My son is 6'2 and it fits great. The length was good. We had an xxl, and would easily work for someone 6'4. Only 4 stars because the hat wouldn't fit his head. I know it's a standard size but I wish I could find one that fit his big head. Someone at the graduation gave him a better one that did fit after I spent hours hand stitching elastic in the hat. Other than that it was perfect.

Great purchase for a one day event. UCLA sells these for a hefty buck but luckily it's all black gowns so it's easy to find it online. It didn't stand out at all (in a good way) and looked like everybody else's cap and gown. The length and sheerness is good too.

This was a great buy for the money! It came in like 2 days cause I ordered on a Friday and it was here by Monday. It's a thin material, I wore all black underneath. I ironed out the creases with my Critcut on 260. I also was able to put a few things on my cap. I will say around the zipper at the bottom the stitching tried it a little. The stitching is very light so be careful. Great but! Definitely recommend especially if you're not looking to spend a whole lot..

The gowns run large. I am 5'9" and ordered the 54+ as I am a bigger guy, and it was a bit long in the sleeves and extremely roomy. The tassel was missing from the order.
