I purchased the honey distressed color and I think they are really pretty. While wearing them I was doing stuff in the kitchen and noticed that water droplets absorbed deeply instantly. It took a long time for them to dry (hours). Fortunately they didn't stain, and I was able to put some leather conditioner/waterproofing on them before they stained. They absorbed a lot of product, so they were very dry. I highly recommend doing this before you wear them if you are like me, and like your leather to look clean and not beat up, especially with water drops. Now that wide-leg pants are back in style, I love having a pair of these clogs again. They balance out the pant leg and give me a little extra height to keep the paint leg from dragging on the the ground. I think they are too expensive for what they are (Mine were $151 with tax), but I guess most things are these days. I had a pair a decade or so ago that lasted me for years and I think I only got rid of them because I had moved on in style. I hope these last as long as those did. Somehow they are comfortable, yet awkward and boxy at the same time. Hard to explain, but I'm really glad I decided to get them.

While exercising about 5 months ago, I landed too hard on my right heel causing a painful condition called plantar fasciitis. I've been receiving professional medical assistance from a foot and ankle specialist as we work together to heal this condition. Plantar fasciitis is frustrating, since it's resistant to anti-inflammatory meds. The only things that heal this condition are stretching, icing, time, behavior modification, and good shoes. Specifically, wearing shoes that: 1.) control your foot's lateral movements by eliminating your heel's ability to slip from side to side, 2.) features a central, non-bendable, design that provides structured arch support and 3.) features a removable insert so that custom orthotics can be used as required. These Danskos clogs meet every single one of these requirements, and were actually on an approved list of shoes recommended to me by my doctor! My dr also recommended I "size up" from US 7.5-8s to Dansko US 8.5-9 / 39s, which I hesitantly did. From the second I slipped these clogs on, I noticed an immediate drop in my pain levels. To be clear: my doc said size up, I did, it was the best choice ever. If you are suffering from plantar fasciitis or just have a job where you are constantly on your feet for extended periods of time, do yourself a solid and BUY THESE SHOES!! They are everything. :-)

Gorgeous clog and high quality as I'd expect from Dansko but I'm a true 8.5 and this is the 1st time an 8.5 is too big and not just a bit. The heal doesn't come close to the back of the shoe and the heal to mid-foot area is too wide and again not just a bit. I bet the 8 would fit fine there but since the toe box was perfect I'm afraid on the 8 it would be too small. So there you have it. I guess clogs don't like me.

Dansko does not disappoint. I haven’t purchased a new pair of Dansko’s in over five years. I ordered my size hoping the shoe design and fit hadn’t changed over the years. I was not disappointed. The shoes fit perfectly and I’ve been wearing them since the day they arrived.

I have owned several pairs of Dansko Clogs. I know the brand, style and my size. I was just replacing my old clogs with these. I have never endured such pain when wearing these shoes. They actually make my right foot go numb when I am wearing them. I had both of my daughters try these shoes in to help me “break in” my Danskos. They both independent of each other said the exact same thing. The right shoe is not fitted correctly. Of course, because I haven’t worn these shoes For the obvious above stated reasons, I am now out of my return window…and left with unwearable shoes.

I love these Danskos! I have bad feet, 3 neuroma surgeries, amputation of my rt 5th toe (malignant melanoma if you can believe that!) soooo, I have massive scar tissue in my feet. For me, these shoes offer great arch support and a wide enough toe area as to not crowd my toes. They seem true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and the 39 is perfect. My old shoes (I had them 15yrs +), finally fell apart. The sole split in both shoes. :( I was elated to get my shoes in the mail! Fit like a hand in a glove. Happy and in love am I! :)
