Too small for larger heads

This seems nicely made and has a soft adjustable headband, but the strip of velcro where you make adjustments is only one inch long. So there isn't much adjusting to be done. I wear size large hats, and this didn't come close to closing.

It wears more like a beret than a tam. I have a smaller head and, even on the smallest Velcro fitting, it was loose. But it gets the job done once a year.
