I am 5'9", 138 lbs, usually wear a sz M, and I first purchased this cute,well made shrug in a sz L. It woulda been fine, but I wanted more of a loose, slouchy look, so I returned and purchased an xxL, which fits exactly as I had hoped. It hangs longer (almost covers my butt) and is quite a bit looser than the L. If you want a more fitted fit, buy your size or even 1 sz up. But anyone tall and slim like me can wear the XXL just fine, as long as you want more length & drape. As far as colors, I first got the ivory, which is a true off white, but not yellowish. The XXL I decided to go a little darker and got the apricot, which I would say is more a cream color. I like it well enough that I just bought it in 2 more colors. UPDATE: I purchased in khaki, which is a very nice color, and black, both once again in 2XL. Well, the khaki fits exactly like the other 2 in the same sz I bought previously. The black is smaller and shorter for some reason. I thought maybe was mismarked, so I repurchased (before sending the other black one back)and it still fits the same, it's about 3" shorter than the others in the same sz. So I'm thinking, were just the black ones sized differently? On prime day I purchased the gray-pink because I love the color(I call it a mauve), again in a sz 2xl, and like the black ones, it is also shorter than the first two 2xl ones I bought. So, there must be a quality control issue? Since I have several other black cardis, I'm returning the black ones since they do not have the longer length I prefer. I'll keep the gray pink one because I love the color. Keep in mind, these are rather delicate and will snag/pull easily, so be careful w/ jewelry, purse buckles, etc.

Love this! It is a really nice coverup for those of us who want to wear strappy or tank tops but don’t want to show our arms. It’s soft and keeps me snug when the AC is a bit chilly for my liking. Looks great with all pants and spaghetti strap dresses.

This item was a bit short. It literally just covered the boobs. I thought it was going to be a bit bigger. It isis comfortable, very soft, all out very nice looking off I was a size 2. It could go with just about anything.

Wore it once, I didn't snag it on anything, but after I took it off, I noticed a quarter sized hole in the arm. I think it's just the nature of the material, had ot lasted a few more wears, it would have been worth it because it's really cute.

I absolutely love this little cardigan. It is lightweight but provides exactly the upper arm and shoulder coverage that you want to class up a little sundress or tank top. Planning to order it in more colors! I would say that you want to go a size up from your usual, to get the loose-fitting look in the photos, which is what I did.
