This is a beautiful dress. It’s well made and runs true to size. I like the ruching on the silk skirt portion it camouflages belly fat. I like that the top is sexy with the lace and nude underlay but the neckline isn’t a revealing cut. This would be great to wear to a wedding.

This is a perfect dress for dressy occasions, planning on wearing it for a nighttime wedding dinner. The upper laced portion has a lining, very nice as you could wear a strapless bra or slip. But without it was a better fit for me, as the size chosen in ten (10) is best in every part except the top at times. But this fit fine, although a smidge snug without anything under. The satin skirt portion has a double-covered slit, which is a slit that is not straight down? It sort of flaps together, only really noticeable when sitting and crossing your legs. I have to be honest here, I despise ruching, and had I seen anything about that feature? I never would have ordered it as it does have somewhere the slit begins. I don't know if I can get past that, but I do plan to try as it is the one I planned on wearing for the occasion mentioned. So? Honestly, I will have to see, I do very much like the dress, but for the life of me, I don't understand why so many styles include the ruching lately. But that is a personal opinion, it in no way affects the dress other than my dislike for it. Again, it is a lovely dress for special occasions, ruching and all. ... show more

I am pleasantly surprised how beautiful the dress is. I think that this designer brand Grace Karen really knows how to design dress as well for curvy women. This is my third dress of this brand and they have all sent me very very well. The material is thick and not cheap. I wasn't expecting this dress to fit me when I opened up the box as it looked very small, but it actually was very flattering on my torso and did not hug my butt tightly. I like the color, the zipper, and material. I will always recommend this brand as I've had great success so far. I would recommend for this dress to order your size or up. I got this for my wife and I must say it looks great. The fabric doesn't feel or look cheap at all and all the craftsmanship, like sewing and stitching looks good. It fits her perfectly and even better it didn't need any tailoring. If you have a wedding or similar even coming up this dress will be perfect. Its classy, a little bit sexy, and well made. This came out of the package very wrinkled so I know I will have to take it to the drycleaners, alas. That said, the lace top is very pretty although it's just a bit small. Not enough to make it unwearable but just enough to mean that I will have to keep adjusting it to keep it on center when I am wearing it. The skirt is nice and hangs well.
