I love this sweater. It looks really good over my dresses. It’s especially good for sleeveless dresses. And it doesn’t cover up the style. It has three-quarter sleeves overall just really pretty color in particular. It looks great with my blue grace karin dresses. It has a very classic look. True to size and fits nicely. Medium weight. The style doesn’t hide the garment underneath as a longer sweater would. The no buttons and wide cuffs have a very classy look as does the tight knit. I don't Always Love Amazon tops...Sorry Amazon, but this was actually a good purchase. I bought this to go with a City Chic garden dress that had this same lilac color in the dress. I wanted a little cover up because I wore the dress to my son's graduation and we were going to dinner afterwards. I knew that I would get a little cold. I love the crop cut and the three quarter length sleeves. I would probably get this again in another color. You can dress it up or down. I LOVE these cardigans! I cannot stress how much they are functional, work with many different looks and compliment many different body shapes. The cardigan itself is an open cut midi cardigan- a what? yes, a midriff cut cardigan (about two inches above the normal waistline) that isn't attention-calling to bulges. The way it is cut is forgiving and actually hides side love handles if you don't buy too small. (I'M AN XL/XXL at 180 and top heavy. I wear XL normally. I wear the XXL sized ones on my bloated days- it masks my "size" better.) The way this thing lays is really nice. Even tho it is on the "belly" area it hangs nicely where it's not callilng attention to your problem zones. Sleeves are 3/4 length just past the elbows about two inches that you can easily scrunch up just a little if you like. I love how the openness of how the cardigan lays allows you to show your outfit underneath just peeping thru! It's looks like...HELLO! It makes such a statement with this little sweater. This cardigan you can wear with tank tops paired with jeans to wearing them as covers over dresses - Hi, Professional! The versatility is amazing and it is so comfortable. It isn't scratchy or binding when you wear it like some other jacket type things. Be warned though, this is not a heavy cardi. It is just a great layering piece that gives you some "pop" or another level to your outfit. TBH it would only be good to keep your shoulders warm as it does not have any buttons to keep it closed at the chest area. It is a cropped, short, 3/4 length cardigan statement piece for accessorizing your chosen outfit for the day. You could easily wear this under a jacket if you needed to go outside as it is not bulky. PS. "TEACHERS/PROFESSIONALS"- I'm a teacher, I wear this almost twice a week/or more! over my dresses, with slacks! It is such a staple that I honestly have several!!! in many different colors to mix and match with my wardrobe. PPS- EVERYONE- It is sewn well and washes well.
