These safety balls are fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for my little guy just learning to play catch. Best part is they look and feel to the touch like a real ball, but I don’t have to worry about him getting hurt. Would work nicely for indoor practice in a gymnasium as well. Feel of the seems is great not to mention you get 6 for the same price you’d get 2-3 from the sporting good store.

I compared these two a Rawlings brand ball and they were basically indistinguishable. These are a good and cheaper alternative.

I was looking for a ball to use for beginners in the game to teach how to catch the correct way. These balls are exactly what I was looking for. Has the same feel as a regular baseball, but it has the softness to promote reassurance that it won’t hurt if you miss the ball. Gives young players a lot of confidence to do things right.

I have pitched batting practice to my 6.5 yo about 4 or 5 times and 4 of the six balls have tears that are an inch long along the stitching. He is a normal kid, not a roided out major leaguer, so I did not expect him to literally be hitting the cover off the ball. I am going to see if I can return these. If I can't then lesson learned...you get what you pay for.
