This snowshoe bag is an interesting idea. It does protect things from getting scratched by the snowshoes if you say transport them in your vehicle. The material is a nice thick canvass. The snowshoes are held securely in the bag so they don't rattle around. I don't find it comfortable as a backpack for long distances though. Likes: - The crampon cover is a nice addition. It doesn't cover all of the crampons on my snowshoes, but it does prevent them from digging into your bag. - The extra pockets and place to put the poles is nice. - Snowshoes are held securely by the interior straps. - It has hand holds on one side and on the top. Issues: - It sits a bit lumpy against my back. - The shoulder straps aren't padded. - Sternum strap sits way too low to be practical. It's almost a waist strap, but too high to be functional for that also. - The bag is a bit bulky and non-rigid. Exterior compression straps would be very helpful. ... show more

This bag is very well made, functional, and good looking too. It’s well thought out for its intended use but I can talso see using it for non-snow day hiking because I like having a bag that opens fully and gives easy access to everything inside. It would be great if it were waterproof/resistant on the outside but it’s not advertised as such and I think that if it were then you might have mildew issues when putting wet snowshoes in it - so 🤷🏻♂️? There are waterproof pockets on the inside to keep your other stuff dry and separate. Speaking of pockets, there are plenty with lots of room for anything you might want for an afternoon out.
