High quality, very easy to install and look great. I see many reviews about poor adhesion. PREP IS KEY!!!! I used a cloth and rubbing alcohol to prep surface as well as using a heat gun to warm up the surface for great adhesion. Was about 40 degrees when i installed mine and had zero issues. It does take a little extra time for prep but these lights are one and done. Wow! I am amazed. These lights stand out and you can't beat the price. They went up easy and are super fun. The only issue I have is that the app is a little complicated at first but after a while you figure it out. There are no annoying memberships or anything like that that come as a surprise after you buy the system. The colors are bright and stunning. I really like these lights. After planning out where each strand will go, I got the whole setup - 150' worth of strands - in about an hour. Make sure you clean the surface with alcohol before you stick the lights on with the included 3M adhesive tape. I made the mistake of forgetting to clean a few spots before sticking up the lights, and one came off. If the lights fall... this is likely the reason. Once they are stuck on, the adhesive is solid. The lights are very bright but can be dimmed in the app to be almost nonvisible if you want. The app includes dozens of different "scenes" and customization options. The basic customizations are super easy to use, but you can also really get into the details with the DIY customizations. Each individual light is programmable. Additionally, these lights are bright enough to use as security lights if you want and can be put on a timer. Over the last 10 years I have easily spent more than the $350 price I got these for (prime day event). Knowing that I won't have to deal with lights every year. I will also say that these lights are a case of "you get what you pay for." The cabling, lights, connections, and app all seem to have gone through quality assurance testing. The app user interface, especially, is better than most other smart device apps I've used in the past. Finally, the customer service is top notch. I sent them an email about buying an extra extension cable, and they replied to me the next day saying that they will send one out to me right away. I could not be happier with Govee, and plan to buy more products from them in the future. ... show more

These lights are AMAZING! I saw this on an IG reel and I thought it would be a great addition to my home and I am absolutely blown away. Here are some of my most loved features: - Since it's a smart light, I am able to setup schedule on when it should be on or off and which color setting - It's extremely bright. This is only at 30% and look at my house shine - It is dimmable!!! - So many light settings!!! Right now I'm on still orange as it is only Thanksgiving! but they have 4 Christmas settings and other events as well. So it's definitely all season lights! - You can customize your own setting with 100% control on each lights --- EACH LIGHTS! That's insane!!! - It is cut into 6 sections (I think) of 25ft each, so you can easily buy another 50ft and connect it to your existing one. I used 150ft and it was perfect!!! - You never have to climb your roof again! I did this for the first time so it was scary and would love not to do it again for a very long time. :D The only improvement is providing more mount. I think it came with 30 mount for my 150ft and it was not enough. You can easily add another 20 and it would be perfect. I used the 3M and also put a mount every 3 lights or so to make sure it's there nice and secure. (I got textured outer wall so 3M alone would not hold.) Longevity of lights is yet to be tested but so far, the wife and I really love these lights! ... show more

The lights portion of the product is stellar and well thought out. I particularly enjoyed being able to use preset routines that other users created and shared. The app is featureful allowing all sorts of customizations and scheduling. The installation hardware is on the terrible side. The 3M tape backing does not hold well. The clips are OK but there are few of them and they do not sell more. The screws for the clips are tiny and are threaded poorly for most uses. Every time the 3M backing fails, I remove the tape from the light and use a dab of 3M 4000 Marine Adhesive. 3M Marine Adhesive (4000 or 4200) holds up well on my boat which takes a beating and is in all sorts of weather. I suspect it will hold these lights indefinitely. Don't use 3M 5200 as it creates a non-removable bond. I also purchased additional clips (GEZIDEA String Light Hanger Hooks) which work pretty well to keep the cord between the lights tucked up. IMO these lights should clip into a housing that can be separately screwed into a specific location. One of these housing per light. I would happily pay more for a better mounting solution. ... show more
