This unit is quiet and works great! The app works great and is easy to use. It’s small and not in your face so it blends in to your surroundings. There area it covers is a a small two bedroom house less than 900 sq feet. I cooked bacon one day and it got a little smoky so I turned this baby on high opened a window and within 2 hours you could barely smell the after effects. It did in two hours what would normally take three days to do. Not to mention I leave it on low daily and I feel like the air is so much cleaner in my house. The ability to connect to a phone and the color light on the top of the machine to let you know the air quality is great. Took about 4 hours to go from red to green the first time in my living room/dining room area. Made the house smell a lot better, and I don’t see as much dust in the air when the sun is coming through the windows at that angle that seems to show all the dust. I just want to say we have a lot of animals at our house. This thing takes the dander and hair out of the air and traps it in the filter. This is a godsend one of the best products I have seen and it helps eliminate the pet smell we have been using it for quite a while and I love how the outside felt piece of the filter is washable. There is a pet lock on there that you should definitely use because pets will turn it off. I love that it has a quiet mode as well. I can have it run while the children are sleeping. Lasted 6 months from date of purchase. Fan stopped operating at normal speed. Prior to that, I had no issues with the air filter. Great feature set and build quality. Super easy set up. Very small / slim size. I have other Govee products and have loved them. I’m going to chalk up this bad air filter to a fluke and try again. Stay tuned for update. ... show more

This thing is dope. I love govee already, I have 2 of their space heaters and a bedroom lit by their leds. The app is the best smart home app I've ever used. Everything I've purchased from them has seamlessly worked with Google home, even with each of their unique nicknames (the air purifier is air force one)! The air purifier itself is a slim box powerhouse. When low or medium it's just slightly audible, at high it's like a lasko standing fan on 3 (not 4!) so not bad at all. When it is set to auto it is SMART. I smoke and vape marijuana and almost immediately after one hit I will watch the light go from green (excellent aqi), to blue, to yellow (kicks into medium), then to red (poor aqi, kicks into high). I thought I could get away with some small cart hits and even that was noticed! The air it produces seems cleaner and in my opinion there is less cat hair floating around. SInce purchasing this, my room air has been cleaner and I can sleep better with the fresh air. I understand this is a special version for pets as Govee sells other purifiers like the more circular version, but I didn't need it for pets and this shape of a device was better for how it looked in my room. I love that I can control it by app and have set it through my alexa so I can turn it on that way and also adjust settings through alexa. Its also nice to see the filter percentage to get an idea of when to replace. ... show more

Had this for a while. Daughter has a pet rabbit and can smell an odor from cage. I turn this on and odor disappears. Great when hosting a get together with friends and family and want to keep air fresh and odor free.

I had no clue where to start looking for air purifiers but this one is PHENOMENAL. I love the automatic feature, and even when it’s at its highest setting it’s no louder than if a sink was running. I’ve noticed it definitely helps with having a short haired dog in the house and keeping his fur from doing everywhere all the time. My main goal was to keep the air in my house from getting so still/stale, and I feel like this powerful little guy does a great job of keeping the air moving throughout the house.
