The Govee Christmas Lights 2, RGBWIC 164FT 500 LED String Lights offer a premium experience for holiday decor enthusiasts, blending cutting-edge innovative features with exceptional performance. With a length of 164 feet and 500 vibrant LEDs, these lights are designed for indoor and outdoor use, making them perfect for Christmas trees, homes, patios, and various festive setups. Here's a detailed look at what makes these lights stand out: Pros Exceptional Brightness and Vibrant LEDs: The Govee Christmas Lights deliver impressive brightness thanks to their high-quality RGBWIC LEDs. Each LED produces vivid, saturated colors that remain consistent and bright across the 164-foot length. Whether you want a classic white glow or a colorful, dynamic display, the LEDs offer excellent visibility even in daylight, enhancing the festive spirit. Customizable Colors and Lighting Functions: One of the standout features of these lights is the ability to customize colors and lighting effects fully. The RGBWIC technology allows for an expanded color palette, including warm white and cool white tones, giving users complete control over the ambiance. With over 130 scene modes available, you can choose from pre-set themes like "Christmas," "Romantic," and "Fireworks," or create your unique displays. The lights can also sync to music, providing a dynamic light show that reacts to the beat, making it ideal for parties or gatherings. User-Friendly Govee App: The Govee App is intuitive and well-designed, offering a seamless experience for controlling the lights. The app allows for easy pairing via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, providing reliable connectivity. Features like the Shape Mapping Function let you map out the placement of the lights for precise control over specific sections, enabling detailed customization. Whether adjusting the colors, changing scene modes, or setting a timer, the app provides a robust set of controls that are easy to navigate. Ease of Pairing and Smart Integration: Pairing the lights with the Govee App is straightforward and takes just a few moments. Once connected, the lights can also be integrated with smart home systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for hands-free voice control. This makes it convenient to turn the lights on or off, change colors, or switch modes without using your phone. Cons Higher Price Point: The Govee Christmas Lights are priced at the premium end of the market. However, this higher cost is justified by the superior quality, brightness, and extensive customization options they offer. The performance and advanced features, such as the shape mapping function and smart home compatibility, provide significant value that offsets the initial investment. While the price may be a consideration for some, the overall experience and durability make these lights worthwhile for those seeking high-quality holiday decor. Final Verdict The Govee Christmas Lights 2, RGBWIC 164FT 500 LEDs are a standout choice for anyone looking to elevate their holiday decorations. The lights offer incredible brightness and vibrant color options, backed by an impressive range of customization features. The user-friendly Govee App enhances the experience with intuitive controls and intelligent integration capabilities. Although the price is on the higher side, it is well compensated by the product's exceptional performance, quality, and versatility. Overall, these lights deliver an outstanding experience, blending style and functionality with ease of use. Given the comprehensive features and top-tier quality, I would rate this product 5 out of 5 stars. It is an excellent investment for creating memorable holiday displays that will impress you.

These Govee Christmas Lights 2 have been absolutely great for us. They were easy to put up, and the phone app is simple to use with a lot of fun options. The effects look awesome, and the shape mapping feature makes it even better if you like customizing how your tree looks. We’ve been using these for about 2 years now and they’re still amazing. They’re also easy to store and quick to set up again the next season, which matters a lot when you’re dealing with a long string like this. They work really well for large to medium trees—99 feet gives you plenty of coverage. And honestly, the best part is the reliability: you don’t get that typical headache where one bulb fails and you’re stuck troubleshooting half the strand. They all light up consistently, and the set feels sturdy and well made. Highly recommend if you want smart holiday lights that actually last and don’t create extra work. If you want, tell me roughly how tall your tree is (e.g., 7 ft, 9 ft, 12 ft), and I can add that detail to make the review even more helpful to shoppers.

When technology works like magic! This is the first govee product I've purchased, and I will be buying more after this. This light string is astounding. I've had it for ten minutes and decided to write this review. I haven't tried many of the options yet, I have been setting up a tree for Halloween. I already have purple and orange lights that twinkle and and I wanted to try something different. It was easy to map the shape, and connecting to it was a breeze too. I didn't even open the directions! Just downloaded the app and did what it said. I was a little sad when I finally looked at the presets and there were only 3 Halloween modes. But then I remembered the AI. First thing I asked for was a spooky tree, and it gave this really cool eerie green effect that casted a ton of shadows. Then I always cover my Halloween tree in ghosts so I asked "give me a ghost themed tree" and I got this adorable purple red and pink number (that is the effect in the video) that looks like the lights are the ghosts flying around the tree! Hands down, knocked my socks off. I know I'm easily amused but I could spend hours just messing with the settings! If you're wondering if the gimmick is worth it, it is! They are bright and can do nearly anything you can imagine. Go get decorating!

These are the best Christmas trees lights ever. I bought a 9' Christmas tree from King of Christmas and was a little concerned that I didn't purchase the pre-lit version. I purchased these lights because I have the TV backlight and I have experience with their app so I had some idea of how they should work. They come in various lengths and I bought the 99' version. I wasn't sure that was enough so I did some research and bought another 99' strand. These lights DO NOT physically connect. I knew this but again, I purchased lights from govee before so I had an idea of how they should work, and work they did. With the app you are able to group the sets together. I have no idea how exactly it knows where the bottom of the tree and the top of the tree is, where the one set begins and the other one ends, but it does, and it does it well. They are extremely easy string up because the LEDs are inline, they are easy to put away because they roll up neatly in the spool. With the app you can individually color each light, use preset scenes, have the lights dance with music, the options are almost limitless. I don't write too many reviews on Amazon, but I'm so impressed with them that I'm going to add another 99' strand for next year. Quality product, phenomenal price when on sale (actually would pay full price and wouldn't feel as if I paid too much the product is that good) you can mix and match strand sizes and they coordinate seamlessly. This is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I believe I will enjoy these for years to come.

I bought these they were supposedly on sale. They were still really expensive. If I knew then what I know now then honestly I probably would’ve paid twice as much. This has literally transformed our tree into something so beautiful, so changeable. It’s magical colorful miraculous. I know I sound dramatic. I just can’t believe how good the app is and how many things you can make the tree do, to match every mood or any color scheme. I can’t believe how high-quality this Lighting string is. It connects so reliably to the Wi-Fi, I can control it from anywhere I have an Internet connection. Save up and buy these lights. You’re going to love them.

I really do like these lights. They are so much easier to put on the a normal Christmas light because they don’t tangle so much I ended up buying I believe the 66 foot one for my 7 1/2 foot tree and I did feel like I could’ve used more lights so probably next time I would’ve bought the 99 foot. The lights are gorgeous. I love how you can change all the colors and how you can change different settings to make them do different things. It’s so beautiful because I was used to just using one color of lights usually white and I hadn’t put colored lights in a long time. I would highly recommend these, but make sure you try to get them when Govee is having a sale, they weren’t too expensive for me again I would highly recommend these lights against your traditional Christmas lights that you buy in the store. I could never get the right shade of white, but this ones you can also mess with different colors of white and different colors of everything. I might use these for another part of my house and buy a longer string for the tree. I also love that you can do the musical movement with the lights as well when you put music on so cool and it is controlled by Alexa.

These lights exceeded my expectations. They have a lot of preset options, DIY colors and are beautifully bright. You can change the brightness if you don't want them as bright as I do. The app works great and love that I can set a recurring timer so they turn on and off at any time I want and any days I want. Also allows control from anywhere since it's controlled through my WIFI and phone. The individual lights are built right into the string so nothing sticking out and feel that made installation easier. They are very durable but I did have an issue and most likely due to where I placed them. Customer service was the best I've ever had and Govee definitely stands behind their products. They had me back up and running in no time. I rarely leave reviews but felt I had to share my experience and let future customers know how awesome these lights are. Not the cheapest lights out there but you get what you pay for and I'll definitely buy from Govee again if I want any other types of lighting products they offer.

I rarely write reviews (I’ve been on Amazon since 2002), but these smart Christmas lights were such a frustrating experience that I feel obligated to warn people. SHORT VERSION: Don’t buy these right now. Wait a year or two until Govee makes a better, more durable product. --------- I wanted to love these lights. The concept is fantastic: creative patterns and customizable effects — all genuinely awesome and not like any traditional lights I've ever used. When they work, they look incredible. But here’s the thing: the coolest smart lights on Earth are useless if they won’t even turn on. Mine worked at first. After my initial setup on the tree, I decided to re-string them to make them look perfect — these aren’t cheap, after all. Halfway through the second go around, the entire set just died. In hindsight, I’m almost glad it happened now, because if I'd left them as-is, I probably wouldn’t have found out until next Christmas, long after the return window closed. The wiring on these feels noticeably more fragile than any standard Christmas lights I’ve used in my life. For something meant to be wrapped, moved, and adjusted, that’s a serious problem. The packaging wasn’t great either. The spool is a good idea in theory, but the center opening is so small I couldn’t get four fingers into it — and I have pretty average-sized hands. It made hanging the lights awkward and the spool honestly kind of pointless. Overall, this was an exercise in futility. I spent my entire Saturday night wrestling with these for my mom who's in her 70s, and the disappointment is still fresh. I truly hope Govee improves the durability and build quality, because the creative features are amazing — the hardware just isn’t ready yet.
