It’s the best one I have ever bought, If anyone want to train their kids, it’s the best one to train them how to balance and my son Hoovers on it inside the house and he enjoys it so much. The benefits of buying it I think are- 1. This lcd display attracts everyone as the design itself is pretty standard and seems very expensive than what we have paid. Apart from that the speed itself controls without anyone controlling it. 2. It has a very smooth ride, seems high powered, battery lasts longer, my son in fact used this board for a week now, it still not out of charge 3. We can even connect our smart phones to this, so you can play music if you need 4. It tilts without difficulty and my son learned self balancing in a day without help 5. The foot part is not slippery but is non slip built, colorful lights attracts anyone..     • My Niece Adores This Hoverboard!

I have long been interested in these hoverboard toys. I ordered this one for my niece to play on when she comes to visit. I must say that this hoverboard is very nice. The bright pink color looks great! My niece absolutely loved the color. There is even a built-in digital speedometer, and a built-in battery life indicator. You also have the option to stream music to the built-in speakers using your Bluetooth device. The hoverboard is equipped with two brushless motors, one for each wheel. The motors operate very quietly, but are very strong and quite fast. The hoverboard can reach speeds up to 7mph on appropriate terrain. The brushless nature of the motors also allow for longer runtimes, due to the fact that they are more efficient than their brushed counterparts. The hoverboard is controlled with body weight. If you want to go forward, the rider will lean their body weight forward. To back up, the rider will lean their body weight backwards. To turn, the rider will split their body weight, and the direction of the turn can be controlled depending on which leg is positioned forward. The controls are very intuitive, but it did take my niece some time to get used to it. Once she figured out the controls, I could not get her off of it. Another area that impressed me were the tires. The tires have very deep tread and are very grippy. You will be surprised where this hoverboard will go. I certainly was. Recharging is very easy using the included wall charger. It takes around four hours to fully recharge, and my niece gets a runtime of around three hours. Overall, I am very happy with this hoverboard from Gotrax. More importantly, my niece absolutely adores this toy. I would say that this hoverboard is worth every penny. The quality speaks for itself. I expect my niece will enjoy this hoverboard for years to come. I would highly recommend it! ... show more

    • Fun to use but I'm always scared

This hoverboard is my first ever and its a blast to ride! I got one for my daughter too, but I wanted to try it out first to make sure I could handle it. It's actually pretty easy to get the hang of riding it around but I must say that one should take all the safety measures before riding this thing. My main challenge is to stop and get off-board the hoverboard. If you're not careful, even a little shift in weight or movement can make the hoverboard move suddenly and you could break your back. So when getting off, you need to do it quickly and carefully, or you might end up on the ground. Again, wear a helmet! As for the battery, it's not the best. It charges up fast, but it doesn't last very long. You can only go about 3 miles before the battery runs out, and then you're stuck walking. Charging the hoverboard takes a while too – about 4 to 5 hours for a full charge. Overall, it's a fun thing to use, but I doubt I'll continue to use it for a long time because I am very scared of tripping over and losing my balance. ... show more

Gotrax MARS Hoverboard with 6.5" LED Wheels & Music Speaker I actually ordered this hoverboard for me (a middle-aged, fairly active woman). But i was having some trouble working up the courage to stand on it, so I took it to my nieces and nephew to test for review purposes. They have a hoverboard (different brand) they've used for several years are all very adept at riding. They taught me a trick...... instead of standing on it the board to start riding, begin in a squat (I'm talking full squat, with rump to heels). Turns out you can operate it exactly the same from that position and it's slightly safer because a fall would be closer to the ground. They said this hoverboard rides really smoothly and is a little heavier than their old one. I watched them twirl, swerve, and ride for an hour. The board is silent when rolling. They loved the lights. After an hour of constant use, they had only used up 1/4 of the battery. Bluetooth is easy to connect and works without interruption. The sound quality of the speaker isn't amazing, but I wouldn't expect it to be on a machine that has a different primary purpose. It doesn't get very loud, so outdoors it's harder to hear the music clearly if there are ambient noises around (traffic, etc). Indoors, you can hear the music better. It charges up in a reasonable amount of time. This thing is solidly built and runs quietly and smoothly. As I'm learning to ride it, I've experienced the quality of it. My nieces and nephew have one of those seat attachments, so I'm going to borrow that and play with it. This is on the higher end of pricing compared to other boards, even my this brand, but it offers the lights and speaker, so I would expect that.
