The scooter has worked as described. I have been pleased with the overall quality given the relatively low purchase price. My 120 lb. wife has been riding this scooter for 2 weeks. It has been great for short trips of 6 - 8 miles, it handles well and has been pleasant to ride. It is best on flat ground but has handled gentle slopes without any problems. At her light weight she has yet to use even half the battery power in roughly 10 miles. If you are a heavier operator at 200 lbs. plus (like myself) do not buy this model. With a top speed of 15.5 miles per hour and a very responsive throttle, the GoTrax Flex is a good time waiting to happen! The GoTrax has an adjustable seat and very adequate suspension with a max riding weight of 268 lbs. I have road this scooter in very different types of roadways, dirt paths , wooden boardwalks, sidewalks, the street and gravel roads and on each of those it handled them well. Steep hills it will struggle up is really the only slight con. Battery charging time is about 5 hours to fill. It also has a bell for a horn , great breaks and comes with a basket to mount over the back tire. If you're going to be riding at night there is a headlight and a tail light. This scooter is light weight enough and small enough that you can fit it in your vehicle even a smaller vehicle. The GoTrax Flex is a great time! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Gotrax Flex Electric Scooter has become fun and useful for short commutes around town for me. With its long range of 16 miles, I can easily use it to run some errands and back home without worrying about recharging the battery. The maximum speed of 15 mph is perfect for cruising around town, and the pneumatic tire provides a smooth ride, even on bumpy roads. One of the standout features of this electric scooter is the comfortable seat with a thick cushion. It makes riding for extended periods a breeze and is perfect for those who have back issues. The seat height is also perfect for my wife, who is on the shorter side. The carrying basket is another added bonus, making it easy to pick up light groceries or carry a small bag while riding. One thing that impressed me was the maximum load capacity of 220lbs. As a person who weighs 240lbs, I was a bit skeptical about the scooter's ability to carry me comfortably, but I was pleasantly surprised. The scooter had no issues carrying my weight and provided a smooth ride. The scooter's foldable design is another standout feature, making it easy to store in tight spaces or carry on public transportation. I can easily fold it up and take it on the train or bus when I need to travel longer distances. Its lightweight design also makes it easy to carry up the bike rack in my garage. The scooter's controls are simple and easy to use. The throttle and brake are located on the handlebars, making it easy to control the speed and stop the scooter when necessary. I'm pleased with this scooter. I'm a photographer who photographs many outdoor events including equine type events and must do a lot of walking with cameras... I needed something to help me get around faster to where I need to photograph as well as not wear me out walking! I don't store the cameras in the basket I either carry them on my shoulder or on a belt. This scooter has enough power to get me around in the grass and areas around the arena as well as back and forth between locations at the photo shoot as well as back and forth to my car. It won't travel through the thick, loose dirt in the arena but I didn't buy it for that and I'm not sure any scooter in this class could do that, would take one with a lot of power and wide tires. Seems to take inclines well and no problems on small hills. So far battery life is good, used at an event for about 5 hours running around locally (no long distances) and still have half power on the battery. Note I must be careful in loose gravel as it can slip a bit but I would expect that with any sort of transportation like this. I wish it were waterproof though in case caught in a rain storm. Gotrax website indicates the batteries are UL listed but I could not find anything on the scooter to indicate this although the charger has a UL listed symbol on it. I did have one problem when it arrived as the handle bars were slightly misaligned with the front wheel, didn't effect drivability but was a little distracting with the handle bars slightly out of alignment with the front wheel. I contacted tech support about it and they got back to me quickly and sent a video how to realign it, was a simple procedure that only took a couple of minutes. The tires needed air but again I would expect this as any tire setting for a while will slowly loose air, I just filled them up with air without any problems. The only thing I wish this had was a place to put an Apple air tag to track it but I do like the fact it has a key to turn it on and off so that provides a little more security. I bought an AirTag holder and put on it for the AirTag so that solved that problem. Wish it had some way to monitor battery health but it only shows battery charge. But I realize at this price and this class of scooter I couldn't have all the bells and whistles. The extra wide deck for my feet is also nice. The seat is very comfortable and has an adjustable height. While it has shock absorption you won't want to go at a fast speed over rough ground without it being a bit rough riding so just slow down a bit... The seat and pole is removable and the handlebars will fold down to allow you to put the scooter in a car but will note it is still a bit large taking up a lot of space but serves its purpose to be portable. If you can ride a bike you can ride this. The only learning curve is understanding its limitations such as taking a turn in loose gravel and getting accustomed to the throttle as it is a bit sensitive and can take off faster than you expect. The scooter is whisper quiet, doesn't make any noise. For the price and class of scooter I'm pleased, don't think I could find anything better in this class and price range. ... show more
