Such a cool good purchase , it lights up beautifully and you can play music which makes it even funnier. Battery life is what you would expect lasts quite a while on a full charge. It’s very sturdy and seems to be holding up well. Good value for an awesome hoverboard!

The media could not be loaded. He can ride it standing up or sitting down. It can go on grass. However the bluetooth speaker is weak and doesn't have a good range.

Edited 6/17/23 - Gotrax ended up giving me an identical replacement hoverboard, which surprised me. They paid to ship my old hoverboard back, and once UPS scanned the tracking number in, they shipped me a replacement. They even followed up regarding the review below. Overall I am pleased with how they handled my issue. Purchased new Gotrax E5 hoverboard in May 2022, gave to daughter for bday in June 2022, used for 4mos then charged and stored indoors for Winter. In Spring 2023, hoverboard won't turn on & won't charge. Contacted Gotrax and they think it is a battery problem, but say that since batteries are expensive they don't sell replacements. Also, I'm out of warranty so sorry about my luck. (see below) Absolutely unacceptable in my mind that a $300 hoverboard is non-operable and non-serviceable in first year of use!!! I have 3 Gotrax hoverboards in this state now...what a waste! Never again Gotrax! Gotrax service reply, "Thank you for all the information you have provided. I am very sorry to hear that your hoverboard is out of warranty. We have reviewed the video and determined that there is a problem with the battery in your hoverboard. Because of the high cost of batteries. So we are not selling any batteries. The cost of the battery is equivalent to almost being able to buy a new hoverboard.
