This is a really nice hat. The cross and the bat wings are permanently attached. However, The other decorations can be removed. The leather eyelet pieces in the shape of an upside down cross it can be taken off as well as the chains, the hoops on the ears, and the safety pins. It makes it feel pretty customizable. It also looks like the cross on the front and the bat ears are just glued on, so you could probably take those off too if you wanted to. There might be some residue left, but I can't say for sure. I'm going to leave everything as is for now. The quality isn't that high, The metal feels cheap and as I stated before some of the things are just glued on. It gives it a DIY look. But it's nice to know that you can move items around if you want to or add other items since there are so many safety pins on the hat. This can be super customizable. I would definitely say to grab it. Personally, I love everything with cat ears and bunny ears so this is one of my favorites! ... show more

The beanie itself is of a good quality, and the mini cat ears are just adorable. Most of the attached decorations (everything except the large cross and the bat wings) can be rearranged as desired, allowing you to create a customized look. Obviously, you're not going to get high fashion quality out of this beanie. But if you go into it with reasonable expectations, I think there's a lot to like here. ... show more
