    • Decent intro to the gospels…
This tract is a great idea but is geared more towards being a general informational tract about the gospels rather than a serious harmony. While space is obviously limited, the tract has seven pages when unfolded yet only two are dedicated to the harmony while other pages are employed to enumerate the parables of Jesus, the miracles of Jesus, etc. The result is a much broader general harmony as opposed to a more detailed event by event harmony. The gospels are separated into just 50 events whereas a more detailed harmony will have anywhere from 180+ events (AT Robertson Harmony) to 250+ events (5th Edition Thompson Chain Reference bible). Overall the tract is a decent compact overview of the gospels but for a more detailed serious breakdown/harmony look elsewhere. I personally recommend McGarvey’s “Fourfold Gospel”. ... show more

    • A wonderful resource for any student of the Scripture
I love reading. But hands-down, without a doubt, my favorite book to read is the Bible. So I’m always intrigued by any resource that can help me get more out of my time in the Scriptures. In “The Gospels Side-By-Side” by Rose Publishing, I found a goldmine. This short pamphlet is chockfull of graphics, charts, maps and historical background information that helped me see the bigger picture of the story of Jesus that the Gospel writers were conveying to us. It begins with the unique perspective of each Gospel writer, and launches us deeper into the Bible from there. In this book you will see things like: * The events of Christ’s life, and which Gospel tells particular events * The miracles of Jesus * The parables of Jesus * The chronological movements of Jesus * How Jesus celebrated Passovers during His public ministry * How these biblical biographies compare to other biographies of the era * Even the historical harmony of the Gospel message in the post-apostolic age This should bring new life to any Bible student’s reading time!     • An Easy To Read Chart of the Four Gospels
This pamphlet lays out the four gospels and their events in an easy to understand format. The four gospels each tells Jesus's story from its own point of view. A story may be found in all of the gospels, while another story may only be found in just one of the gospels. The charts lays it all out for you. There is a chart for all the events, one for miracles, one for the parables, and another for all the places he visited. The chart works by listing the event and where it can be found in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John by scripture reference. The pamphlet has a section that also gives you an overview on the gospels themselves, what viewpoint they were written from, and who the audience was that the author was writing to. There is also a map of Israel during Jesus' time that depicts what cities existed at the time and which are still present today. This pamphlet is very visually engaging and would be very helpful to have handy in a Bible class or in your own personal study. ... show more
