These are worse than renting snowshoes at ski lodges. The bindings kept coming undone while snow shoeing. Even though they are defective (just was able to use them last week) Amazon states I can't get my money back. DEFECTIVE ITEMS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE RETURNED.

These, like most of the cheap ones made in China, have the foot plate attached to a web of plastic that flexes (quality snowshoes use a metal bar that the plate rotates around). This is an obvious stress point that will break as it is constantly being stressed. Once it breaks, it won't be easy to fix in the field, leaving you stranded with a piece of crap. ... show more

We bought this for our adventure in the snow, socal just had a snow storm and we went out and try these snowshoes right after the storm, I have to say they are pretty durable, we had a great time! I would recommend this product.
