These worked great. I ordered two pairs - a smaller pair to fit my 10 year old and myself (up to 125 lbs), and the next size up which will fit my 12 year old up to my husband's weight (up to 185lbs). This way any combination of 2 of us can use them together. It was perfect timing for visiting our house on a golf course in the mountains that received a ton of snow. We're able to walk our dogs in a snow storm with ease! In fact, one dog got loose and I had to sprint after her almost a mile in about 2 feet of snow, up and down steep golf course holes and through wooded back yards - if I wasn't wearing these snow shoes I don't know how I'd have kept up with her and eventually found her. The lightweight of the snowshoes make them easy to pack and travel with. We needed the snowshoes to access a woodpile at the back of our property line rather than wading through the snow. My husband, as well as our grandson has been able to successfully use the snowshoes.

Bought these to get some winter exercise. Light weight and easy to maneuver in. Pole are great for stability and the heel extension really helps on hills.
