Omg! This saved me 300$ to buy a new one. My son dropped his Xbox while moving and ended up damaging the fan! I found out that’s what it was after taking it apart and cleaning it. It is so easy to install you just have to be able to unscrew screws then screw them back in. You can watch a step by step on YouTube if you need help. The fan runs quiet I was worried it wasn’t on but I put my hand and felt the air! I havnt had any problems so far and I hope I dont but it was definitely worth the money! I did have to cut a corner piece to make it fit like others have said but it works good! My son is going to be so happy when he gets home! ... show more

    • It works as intended!
No noise whatsoever and I didn’t need to cut off any plastic legs it was super easy to install and hopefully I won’t have anymore overheating issues. Came brand new with both screwdrivers too I would recommend to anyone having issues with a series s overheating. Goodluck!

    • Need Modification for Xbox Series S
This was the 2nd fan I bought. My Xbox series S fan would constantly run, even when off. Since it's outside of warrantee, I figured I have nothing to lose. The square peg gets in the way. Other reviews stated the fan works great after removing the peg. So I heated a stainless steel knife blade on the stove and the peg sliced off fairly easy. IT WORKED! My Xbox is silent!! Let's see how long it lasts. Update: My Xbox is silent, I have added another star because I'm so happy it's worked so well. Still sucks having to do the modification but worth it. ... show more

So after I got this I installed it in my Xbox and it works amazing! Great price and now my Xbox keeps nice and cool without any overheating. Highly reccomend!

    • Beware the plastic leg
Fan worked and cools the xbox nicely. Defending on your series s you may need to cut off one of the plastic legs, other than that everything else was fine.

This fan says it will fit the Xbox series X and it doesn't Could not even cut some tabs off to make it work. Biggest waist of money, don't buy. Company should buy me a named brand that does fit or stop selling this labeled for Xbox series x
