  • Durable
These are incredibly durable. I mainly got these because I hurt my finger and could not lift weights properly. I was able to use the hook attachment to start lifting again and it worked perfectly.

  • Good product
Works well, easy to change between straps and hooks

  • Lift Assist
For anyone tired of losing grip on heavy sets, these wrist wraps bring real support and modular versatility. They’re not the softest (break-in period required), and the Velcro could be stronger, but they deliver where it counts.

  • Solid heavy duty wrist straps hold up well at higher weights
The straps are heavy duty and durable. I find them very comfortable, they don’t dig into my skin. They handle heavier weights better than other wrist straps I have tried. I can feel the stability much more. For an industrial strength straps, these are a good value.

  • Cool concept, but the modularity limits functionality.
I was really excited for this when I saw it. The versatility and modularity of these is very intriguing but ultimately not as great as I was expecting. The lifting hooks are not super useful in any of the lifts that I do. and the clip/slot that is used to switch between the hooks and straps is slightly limiting when using for grip. This clip/slot does make it pretty easy to switch between hooks and straps, but unfortunately when I stick with just the lifting straps they tend to fall off at random points in my workout. When I am actually lifting they are pretty sturdy and work pretty well, but when moving between sets or workouts they tend to fall off. ... show more

  • Finally, Wrist Support That Doesn't Mess Around with Ruggedness and Pricing
Look, I'm not trying to be the next Arnold or anything - just a regular person hitting the gym three times a week who sometimes likes to test their limits. These Gorilla Grips have become my go-to when I want to push a max press without worrying about my wrists giving out. What I liked: First off, these things are SOLID. Like, when I opened the box, I could feel the quality before I even saw them. They've earned the "Gorilla" name - the build quality screams "I'm here to work." The best part? You get options. Want just wrist support? Got it. Need those lifting hooks for heavier pulls? They're there. The modular design means I'm not stuck with one setup. The wrist straps themselves surprised me. They're incredibly sturdy but not uncomfortable - you know how some wrist gear feels like wearing sandpaper? Not these. They've got that perfect balance of "I'll support you through anything" and "I won't make you miserable while doing it." What I didn't like: I've been racking my brain trying to find something to complain about, but honestly? I'm coming up empty. The price is fair, everything works as promised, and I don't see any corner-cutting in the construction. Bottom Line: Whether you're a weekend warrior like me or someone who takes their lifting more seriously, these wraps deliver. They give you the confidence to push your limits without the fear of wrist failure. Sometimes in fitness, you find gear that just works - this is one of those finds. ... show more

  • Good Grips
The main thing to note is that you can attach either a metal hook, OR a strap to either handle. So you can decide which method you want to use for your grip. The strap is the same methodology as every other wrap - you wrap it around the bar, then put your hand over it. It makes it decently easier for grip. The metal hook is exactly as it sounds. It makes it A LOT easier hold onto something when your grip strength is shot. The part that holds your wrists is pretty soft. Think it's more comfy than other wraps I've tried. It's not quite as compact as just cloth only wraps, but it's definitely fancier and gives you two options to use. So overall, I think it's pretty useful and good quality. ... show more

  • I like these a lot
I've been weightlifting for about 8 months now, and I'm starting to lift heavier and heavier. I've been progressing using a 5x5 method of progressive overload, and I'm getting to the point where my grip is starting to be what gives out before my muscles. I've avoided wriststraps to help strengthen my wrists and my grip as much as possible, so here I am now looking for them. These have these little modular "clips" on the ends of either the hooks or the straps. They slip in with a little bit of fidgeting, but it's not difficult or irritating. There is NO locking mechanism, just good ol' gravity to keep them in place, so be careful about overhead anything as these just aren't for that. This is for lifting and pulling. I like the hook attachments most. They're hard and metal, and do a lot of the work for you on the grip part. The straps work fine as well, just as straps would, with an added benefit of some grippy material along the length. And of course, the main benefit of this type of modular setup is that I can go between the two to suit my needs for specific lifts. The wrist straps are honestly great as well. They're padded, not too thick, and offer surprising wrist support. Altogether, this is an incredible deal for the cost. They're not perfect, but they have a versatile and surprising quality. ... show more
