This square mat, though wonderful, is really designed for a shower stall. It's a few inches too wide for a standard size bathtub, and so has to have a fold along one side to get it to lie flat when used. That's my only problem with it. In every other way it seems perfect. It is much more flexible that others I have had and so lies nicely across the tub edge to dry. It is good looking, and lighter weight than one would expect, very easy and pleasant to handle. Works great! Love the color and non-slip surface still holds is steady even in soapy water. There's room for a shower chair when I injured my knee years ago. Now we don't need the chair however we still prefer the smaller size bath mat for our shower to prevent falls on a soapy shower floor. Not only does it grip well and provide a safer surface for my shower, but it actually looks good too. I bought the brown/amber colored one to match some cherry wood trim in my bathroom and it actually compliments the decor well. Water drainage is no problem either.

I am using this in a shower. The good: color is great, the size is perfect, it does not slide on the shower floor. The bad: the top becomes slippery, especially when soap washes down on it. I am older, with balance issues and this mat top is just too slippery for me.
