  • Gorilla Gear 10L Dry Bag
Size: 10L Color: Forest Green
This is a great dry bag for packing extra clothing or anything that you don’t want to get wet while out on canoeing, kayaking, rafting or camping trips. It has a 100% waterproof IPX6 rating, but it’s not intended for prolonged submersion. The bag is lightweight and easy to carry. The included strap has 3 points at which you can attach it, depending on the orientation of how you want to carry it, on the side or on top. The strap has white reflective stitching along the edges. This bag is made by Gorilla Gear, part of the Gorilla Grip line of strong and durable products, so you know this bag is going to be decent quality. The roll top design features simple 3 step instructions printed on the outside of the bag to ensure a proper closure. 1. Align top edge of bag so it’s flat. 2. Fold top edge down and tightly roll 3-5 times. 3. Secure buckles together to seal dry bag. But really it’s only one heavy duty buckle. The bag itself is made of thick PVC material. The 10 liter bag is a good size for carrying your personal items on day trips or overnight stays, but keep in mind that you must leave enough space in the bag to be able to fold the top down several times. If you want it to hold clothes and a sleeping bag or a lot of stuff, I’d get the 20 liter size. ... show more

  • Great waterproof bag
Size: 10L Color: Orange
Well made, thick waterproof bag that easily rolls up for storage in a camping or bug out bag. This is definitely one of those things where you want to have it but may never need it. There's a ton of different circumstances where you could use it, though, and in that respect I think everyone who spends time outdoors should have some way of sealing electronics or papers, cards, whatever, in a waterproof bag. I wouldn't trust cheap zip lock bags and neither should you, and this bag looks nice, is well made, and comes in a lot of colors too. My personal recommendation as someone who's done plenty of stuff in the woods, get a bright color! Your instinct may be to get a green or black one as if to match camouflage colors, but experience has taught me you'll be better off with bags that you can clearly see if you set them down or drop them. That's just my opinion, though, and ultimately I do love this bag and recommend it to everyone! ... show more

  • A Good Day Bag for a Day Trip
Size: 10L Color: Light Blue
This is a solid bag if your looking to keep a few things dry on a day trip. This bag is not going to be a great buy for someone looking for a bag that is going to be used regularly for years to come. Overall this bag looks and feels like one of the highest quality bags on the market in most ways but differ in a few key differences. The first big difference is in how water tight it is. The bag is reasonably water tight and would survive most falls into the water without getting water in it. However, it is not as water tight as other bags I've had and water got in when I tested it underwater with pressure on the bag. What does this mean, it would take on water if it fell out of a boat and hits rocks and other things when underwater. Usually if a bag ends up underwater in these circumstances your not likely to get it back. The other area it is less than optimum is in its durability. The bag I received is not reinforced on the seams and has places where its not sealed over where it should be. Some of this is just cosmetically uglier than it should be, and for a bag that is not going to see heavy use not a big deal but with heavy use the inadequate sealing on the seams means it will break down faster and will start to take on quicker than a bag that is properly sealed. Given I've had bags I used for decades for the average user its not going to be a big deal but if your going to be heavily using the bag opting for one with better sealing is going to mean longevity. Finally The bag comes with an optional strap that has a reflective strip on the strap. That strap is secured to the bag with a a fairly insecure clip. Given that this strap is where someone might strap it to the boat or use to carry it if they weren't savvy to proper strapping in of objects this is a fairly significant flaw. Not because it changes the waterproofing at all but because it is likely to break if put under a lot of strain and pressure and if the bag ends up in the water you may never see it again. ... show more

  • Great for kayaking or tubing
Size: 10L Color: Clear Blue
I live along a "creek" in northern PA that people come from all over to kayak, raft or tube. We usually go tubing at least a couple times a year. Especially when people come to visit. I have a much smaller waterproof bag but that only fits one or two phones. I like to attach a waterproof Bluetooth speaker on my floating cooler and stream from an Ipod or phone. My little bag worked but everyone else had to leaver their phones behind if they didn't have a waterproof sleeve or bag. When I first got this bag I was a bit confused that there was no zipper or closure at the top. I followed the directions and rolled the top and fastened it with air and a tissue inside. I held it under water and the tissue stayed dry. I left it inflated for the last week and it's still just as inflated as when I first rolled it so I'm confidant in trusting it. My guests will be quite pleaed that they no longer have to leave their phones behind. ... show more

  • Standard bag -- solid choice
Size: 10L Color: Orange
Standard dry bag that works perfectly to protect gear. Its moderately thick & heavy PVC is puncture-resistant yet rather pliable. The stiffened top (which doesn't have Velcro for extra security) folds over and seals exactly as it should. Rather stiff plastic buckle -- but on the plus side, is highly unlikely to inadvertently come apart. Shoulder strap swivel clips and and bag attachment points are plastic, which is standard. Nothing can rust but latches could weaken and break over time and UV exposure. Robust seam “welding”. High visibility opaque orange. Adjustable detachable shoulder strap. No separate hand strap (which I like as forgoing one saves weight & bulk). If a hand strap is desired the closed top roll buckle can double as one. The shoulder strap’s reflective threads are a big plus in the dark. As a scuba diver, kayaker, and climber I’ve had many dry bags over the years. Some are of a different material that is lighter and more pliable. However, that doesn’t mean this functional dry bag isn’t a good one, especially for situations in which weight isn’t a concern (including car camping). The price point makes it a solid choice. ... show more
