I have a sun dolphin American Jon 12ft I had to make some changes to the ore locks and they fit perfect I added some stainless steel attachment points and it’s super sturdy, time will tell how long it will last but I do plan of getting a different cloth for the top of it that is more durable.

Easy to assemble. No instructions but not rocket science so that's no too big of a deal. If it's the 1st one going on the boat, you will need to buy the brackets that go on the boat and a bracket set to go from the u mount bracket on canopy to the boat bracket that are eyelet designed brackets or make a bracket that works for the u bracket system on the canopy. This is the reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars

This came with no instructions or deck mounts and the actual mount on the poles are 3/4in square brackets. There is no deck mounts that I can find for this. Poles are cheaply made and I feel will break or collapse if not careful putting it up and taking it down. I know have to find a way to mount this onto my Jon boat.

First thing you got to know is this is not a heavy duty top. But it is a good little top for the price. As many other have stated it does not come with assembly instructions, however even with that handicap I had it put together in less than 5 minutes. I think the straps and carabiners could be a little beefier, but again, you are not paying a lot for this top so you have got to expect there will be some things you would like to see a little better. All that being said, I installed this on an 8 foot jon boat and it works perfectly. I certainly enjoyed the break from the direct sun as well as the rain that came later. I don’t think this top will stand up to much abuse, but if you take care of it and not abuse it, I believe it will last a while. I do not regret this purchase at all.

Added this to a small 12' boat My boat is about 2" narrower than this listing, and they still fit fine. Tops looks good on that size and its held up to cruising speeds around 25mph on the water. The material is flimsy, and I don't expect more than 2 years from it, honestly. I suspect I may have to patch it or get a cover made for it (my likely route) if the hardware holds up. But for the price, I can't complain.

I liked the idea of this canopy and how it blocks most of the sun, I do feel like it could have been a bit bigger as it only covers one person. It was easy to setup. For the money it’s nice though.
