My family has recently been getting into more and more hands on projects and we’ve been in need for some storage in our garage for all of our tools. This cabinet has been just what we needed. For starters the cabinet's six drawers provide ample space for tools of various sizes, keeping everything neatly organized and easily accessible. Secondly the drawers open and close smoothly which isn’t the biggest ask but just makes things much nicer, and the inclusion of universal wheels makes moving it around seamless. A nice feature I particularly appreciate are the additional hooks. These allow for hanging tools you’re using like wrenches or such much easier and makes it convenient. It’s also not too clunky or large so it works even in a smaller compact garage. While assembly took a bit of time, the instructions were generally clear and all necessary hardware was included. Overall it’s sturdy and durable and is a great way to gain some storage in the garage/workshop.

I've had this storage Cabinet in my garage for a few weeks now, and overall, it's been a fantastic addition to my workspace. This tool chest strikes a nice balance between providing ample storage and being highly mobile, which is essential for someone like me who is constantly working on different projects around the garage. Pros: Mobility: One of the standout features of this tool chest is how easy it is to move around. The smooth-rolling casters, combined with the solid handle, make it a breeze to relocate the chest from one side of the garage to the other, even when it’s fully loaded with tools. This is a big plus for me since I often need to have my tools within arm’s reach, regardless of where I’m working. The casters also lock securely, ensuring that the chest stays in place when I need it to. Storage Capacity: The 6-drawer setup offers plenty of room to organize my tools. I appreciate the different drawer sizes, which allow me to store everything from small screwdrivers to larger power tools. This tool chest is perfect for someone who needs to store/organize a moderate amount of tools but who isn't collecting an extensive professional tool set. If you're forming your own Snap-On empire you should move along. Definitely get the "extra large" extended one because as others have mentioned, it's smaller than the pictures suggest so the XL was exactly what I was looking for. The black is unobtrusive and does its job without screaming "hey over here this is where he keeps his tools"! Some of the drawers were shallow and it has thin metal but it's also a fraction of the price I would have paid at Lowes or even Harbor Freight. The toolbox on top is noticeably sturdier than the base or middle section, making it top-heavy. This was immediately solved once I put my heavier tools in the lower cabinet and larger bottom drawers. I don't plan on moving it from place to place, but the wheels are heavy/sturdy and roll well. The one picture on the post makes it look as if the middle extension box is self contained. Be aware it is not - it's three side pieces and the front door flap which all bolt to the main structure. I was concerned about other posts mentioning it being damaged or fragile. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packaged. Everything was sealed in clear plastic, surrounded by styrofoam and also with cardboard panels, cardboard L sections and plastic corner pieces to prevent shifting. The assembly instructions were fairly useless but the video on the product page was clearer and most of it is very common sense. I followed my gut and had no issues, only backing up a few steps one time when I assembled a section out of order. The biggest downside was all the bolts/nuts/screws being unlabeled in the same baggie which had to be sorted out and identified. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and could see myself buying a matching one some day if I wanted to double the storage space.
