After looking at a lot of artificial palms, I decided to risk it and ordered this one. It was about half the cost of others, and though there were fewer reviews, the star rating was about the same. The order arrived, and was easy to remove from the box. The weighted base was wrapped in a plastic bag, which kept the spanish moss in place. The wired branches required shaping—of course—which was easy to do. There were no broken branches or missing fronds in the process. I was pleased to find that the weighted base is indeed weighted. I set it in the corner by the dog bed, where the big dogs (golden retriever and white German shepherd) play tug of war over their toys. The two cats examined it, and tested it for edibility. It appears undamaged in spite of that. Either they found it unpalatable or “hey, cut that out!” was a success this time. They like to sit beside it and look out the window, and occasionally startle a dog by leaping out. Despite all this, the palm has remained standing. The human consensus is that the plant looks real, and is a positive addition. My husband likes it so much, he was disappointed to know this company doesn’t sell a larger palm. I would buy one without hesitation, and will quite probably purchase more of these if an exhaustive internet search doesn’t turn up a bigger one. Not everything is listed on Amazon, after all. I purchased a second one of these as my first one lasted over 4 yrs on an outside lanai here in Florida. The wind was just to much for it one day and the big stalk snapped in half. Not a bad value considering how long it lasted. It does take a few days once you get it out of the box to look like a real tree but it's worth the money. ... show more

A bit overpriced for what you get. Not sturdy enough to stand steadily. Kept falling over. Had to get creative and put marbles on base and stick n corner where from distance it looks real.

I do still love it. After all, natural plants / trees have damaged leaves, too. Maybe not bent but it's not a real problem in my opinion. Looks natural. I love the thought that went into the trunk design.

This is a nice little palm tree. The pot is way to small. They are all that way, even the higher end ones. I put it in a large pot and worked a bit to get it in just the right shape. It looks good in our living room.

We got two palm trees to use in our church, in two very high alcoves. They were easy to style and are very sturdy. We needed something that would not fall down and hurt someone. They have a weighted base that is perfect. They look fantastic especially with the light shining on them. Very realistic!

Not happy with this product, the tips permanently bend downward and are coming off the wires, leaves bent and mangled and is just very poorly made and packaged. Not impressed.
