Impressed to the core! I am SO incredibly happy that I decided to give this King size Goose feather comforter a try. I've been wanting a new one, but wanted to stay clear of the typical white option. I came across this gorgeous grey Goose feather comforter in my King size. I immediately loved the appearance of the box stitch. Once I was able to get it home and confirm that stitching is as it is online, I was pleased beyond measure. Below, I will outline the main reasons I sought this, and why it became a fairly easy decision after reviewing and confirming the claims of this comforter. * Design: the box stitch is perfection- no areas of misaligned stitching. The outer blanket is made with premium cotton and the fill inside is 70% luxury goose feather down and 40% natural kapok material. It is evident they used the finest materials to master this piece. *Fill weight: 55% *240 Thread count *Box: baffle style *When to use: this is an ALL season down comforter - I would equate this to a medium warmth. I'd be able to comfortably use this in the fall and spring here in the Midwest. Sort of subjective to what your ideal temp preference is. *Dimensions for your reference: 16.5 x 13 x 6 inches with a weight of 9,68 lbs Based on the quality of this down comforter, I would gladly recommend this to other consumers. The material is very skin friendly and breathable throughout the night. I did not find any sort of issue such as loose threads, misaligned stitching, defects of any sort. I'm absolutely loving this gooseneck feather insert that I ordered for my duvet comforter! It has strings that tie very easily to the other strings inside of my duvet cover! I love the fact that I can switch out the cover whenever I have guests over and want to give them a clean bed to sleep in! As you can see this bed is super fluffy with this insert inside of it and I couldn't ask for a better one had I designed it myself! It keeps me cool and doesn't overheat me throughout the night which is perfect for me because I live in the south and that becomes a problem with all the humidity we have here! It doesn't get bunched up and stays flat inside of the insert I know it sounds funny but after I put this big fluffy thing on my bed I actually looked for excuses to walk back by my room to get one more look! This makes me look forward to rest and relaxation! I absolutely love it it's stitching is perfect and it's made very durable I'm sure I will be enjoying this insert for the rest of my life with how well it's made and the great quality that I'm experiencing out of this! I can't say enough about how proud I am of the way my new bed feels and looks I'm so grateful to be able to try this insert and I don't think anyone would disagree that this bed looks very inviting! This goose down comforter is soft, squishy, and durable. It has nice loops for attaching a duvet if desired. I am using it as is and am quite pleased. It is neither too thick, nor too thin, making it ideal for year round use. I love the warmth of goose down in the winter and the breathability in the summer. The loft should be just perfect for when I run my window AC unit in the summer. The quilt is appropriately sized, but I recommend one size larger as having extra for wrapping and resting your legs on is extra comfy. I bought a king size for a queen bed and it works out great. Comforter was very well packaged - the labels state Okeo Tex and natural materials only. No off gassing whatsoever and no smell from the Kapok Fibers (20% I believe). I have been using a synthetic comforter for a while and this is my first feather duvet in a long time. Stitching and build quality are good and this is supersiglingly warm despite not being overly heavy. I have the bedroom thermostat set at around 65 degrees and this is keeping me very comfortable. I have found myself warmer than I want when our HVAC was running in the night. Again, each person is different but I am actually quite surprised with the warmth to weight ratio. Now for the couple of negatives that I found - firstly there is no clear indication between top/bottom and sides - installing it in our duvet cover took a couple of tries. my biggest complaint is the above average noise the outer material makes which for a cotton cover is a bit surprising. it hasn't been a deal breaker for us but it is something to note. I also find that the price should be lower considering well known brands can be cheaper than that for similar filling. ... show more

Overall this is a wonderful comforter. So when I use it correctly it works very well. I like that it changes the overall look of the room. I is very large which is nice so it covers the entire bed well with out dragging on the floor. This is super warm. It actually has adequate tie down spots. Last one I got only had the corners which is a huge pain after a couple days. Give it about 2 to 3 weeks to wear in to get rid of the crinkle sound and soften up a bit. It's amazing after that!
