  • Wide soundstage, sound improves over time
Style: Headphones Color: Black
These started out at $200, I waited and waited and got them for $100. Worth the wait. These are high-end earbuds for sure. As high end as Bluetooth can be anyway. I believe they are now back up to $200. Initially, when I first used them, the sound seemed low for the sound level I'm accustomed to on other earbuds. But as my ears acclimated to them...or possibly the earbuds burned in...the sound became more involved and I can hear a wider soundstage than with other earbuds. Overall sound is clean, crisp and clear. The bass is strong if you have and can maintain a sufficiently tight seal in the ear. The stock eartips didn't provide a reliable seal so I installed the largest eartips I have from my Panasonic RZ-S500W earbuds. That did the trick. Reliable seal and they fit in the JBL charging case. The charging case is a little on the large side, but it's still okay. Excellent build quality. Battery life so far on the buds and case are great. But I rarely use earbuds longer than 3 hours so BL isn't much of a concern to me. For reference, I have or have had the earbuds listed below. I will say that I am favoring these JBL earbuds over all of them but my Master & Dynamic MW-07. But I grab these more often because the M&D earbuds don't last more than 2.5 hours battery life. And at about 1.5 hours they produce a warning sound that repeats every so often. Nevertheless, the M&D sound quality is among the best I've ever heard. [Ranked ONLY for sound quality from best to worst] Master & Dynamic MW-07 Technics EAH-AZ70W (Best ANC and exceptional sound quality, but battery depletes while powered off) JBL Tour PRO+ Technics EAH-AZ60 Sony WF-1000XM4 (Bought for "World leading ANC". Returned. Their ANC wasn't better than the Technics EAH-AZ70W and their sound wasn't exceptional enough) Sony LinkBuds S JBL Live FreeNC+ (very small, nicely compact case, but limited custom eartip selection that will fit in the case) Moondrop Sparks Panasonic RZ-S500W Sennheiser CX Sennheiser CX 400BT ... show more

  • Love
Style: Headphones Color: Black
I absolutely love these earbuds. Disclaimer: I have only used JBL ear buds and headphones while listening to music or movies on my iPhone. I have been using the JBL Tune750BTNC over the head earphone for a couple of years. This summer I found the 750BTNC headphones to be hot while taking long walks through Brooklyn. I thought I would try the Tour Pro Earbuds to have less to carry and keep cooler. They are definitely cooler and They're pretty comfortable however after about an hour of listening the concha area of my ears begin to fatigue. I simply adjust the fit allowing me to go longer. I experience similar fatigue on the helix area of ears using over the head headphones (Sennheiser HD280, Sony MDR2506 and the JBL Tune750BTNC). I have been a fan of JBL's sound for many years. Unfortunately JBL does have a cheap-o line which is pretty awful but their mid to pro level equipment is pretty awesome. The Tour Pro's sound is plush and sweet. The Noise canceling feature is great! I walk through the Fulton Mall and nearly everything from yelling people and boom boxes to construction almost vanishes. The Talk Through mode is helpful for crossing the street and talking to people. The charge lasts a long time. I really like these earbuds and recommend them. ... show more

  • Too buggy for the price point
Style: Headphones Color: Black
First let me start by saying I got these on sale for $99. They sound great with the EQs activated in the app. The noise canceling is meh. My Galaxy buds pro do better. The pass-through is terrible at best. Once again, galaxy buds win that. Battery life is absolutely exceptional. I get 8+ hours on the buds themself, and 40ish with the case. As a review elsewhere stated, the app is buggy and glitchy, and you have to fiddle with the buds to get them to charge. On sale they are worth the price. Otherwise the galaxy buds are better, just watch out for the Nickel on the buds... ... show more

  • Stop with the overpriced namebrand earbuds, and expect nothing but the best with these!
Style: Headphones Color: Black
I have been very eager to try these, and after losing my beloved Samsung pros, I decided I had to buy! Comparatively on price, these match to many top name brand earbuds on the market, however they blow the competition out of the water! Other than a having a hard time finding a comfortable fitment for my smaller ears, as these buds are bigger than most, the pros of this product outweigh everything negative by miles! The sound quality is unparalleled for the price, with an insane immersive audio, that can be fully adjusted and controlled from the app! The easy to operate touch controls are not overly sensitive, preventing that annoying accidental command. Battery will last longer than my phone, and working in a factory setting, I keep them in for the noise canceling all day without recharge. Currently looking for a protector case, similar to my samsung pros waterproof case, as the charging case does seem a bit brittle like all others, but that doesn't mean anything! I will be back with an update on the charging case. ... show more

  • Buggy replacement
Style: Headphones Color: Black
My perspective: is that I’m coming off AirPods pro and and coming off an iOS device. I originally got these as a replacement for my AirPods Pro and the tour pros were around 100$. I just wanted a cheaper alternative that was decent. Audio quality/anc: These imo have terrible audio quality out of the box. The highs are over represented and are almost piercing. When I was listening to music it sounded tinny and lacking. The bass was weak and overall unenjoyable. Even listening to people talk while watching videos was unenjoyable. When there was a S consonant spoken it was super sharp and piercing. However, the saving grace is that these can be EQ in the app. Which makes them enjoyable. As for the active noise cancelling its ok. It’s useful however it isn’t amazing. I’m coming off anc from airpod pros and Bose qc35ii. It can knock out low rumbling noise like an air con and a fan. And it muffles peoples voices. With music these are pretty decent. Fit: For me these fit poorly due to the very large size of the bud. It makes my ears sore after a couple of minutes. So if you have smaller ears maybe stray away from these buds. Features/usability : The control on these buds are ok. Each ear bud has one specific control function you can set in the app. However you are stuck with that feature. If you want control ambient sound, playback, and volume you can’t. You have to choose one of the two unless you use a voice assistant. However not being able to control volume isn’t a big deal to me. What is a problem is that I can’t pause and play unless that earbud is assigned that function. The capacitive touch buttons are ok. They are a little bit finicky especially if your hands are wet. However that’s Expected with those controls. Case: case is thick. It’s small however due to its thickness it might be a little trouble for some to Cary them. However it’s not a deal breaker. It’s decently built nice mate rubber finish. Connectivity: the connection has been not the best at time. Most of the time it works fine. However it unpairs at random times and and only one bud connects. Bugs: there a few I’ve encountered. The app is a bit buggy. When I open the app it takes a couple of seconds for me to see my buds. It constantly closes and opens up the bud profile. Also the most annoying and funny bug that I’ve encountered is when I put them in the case they emit a high pitch ringing sound. I assume this is the ambient mode in each bud interfering with each other. It’s really annoying sometimes however putting them back in the case and closing it a couple of times usually stops it. Final thoughts : These right now go for about 200$. For that price these buds are not worth it. For android users there are plenty options that are better than this at this price. And for apple users AirPods Pro are infinitely better than these. However, I did get them around 100 and for that price these buds are a good value. Only thing is the comfort is a bit lacking. Reasonably I wouldn’t pay more than 130$ for these. ... show more

  • If you ever see another jbl product in my hand, please slap it out.
Style: Headphones Color: Black
I bought these to connect to my computer for work from home. They would not stay connected to a laptop...any laptop. I tried several and the buds would just disconnect from them. I called jbl who then said it is a computer problem because they would connect to my phone so I decided to try to use them with my phone because they were not cheap. I know they are nowhere near the cost of the gold standard option but for my budget they are not cheap. Here is the process to using them. First, moisten the rubber pads by breathing on them. Then jamb them into your ear until it feels as though you shoved a lit candle into your ear. Turn on the noise canceling. This part is essential to block out background noise then crank the sound all the way up. This is not to jam out to rock, this is just so that you can hear the audio book you are listening to. Yeah, I'm that guy that listens to audio books for fun. Now DO NOT MOVE. Don't blink, don't look around ot they will jump out of your ears with even minor movement. Try the different sized earpieces. It will slightly adjust the heat level of the lit candle and will have no impact on how secure they are in your ears. Turn off noise canceling and turn on ambient aware and you can hear mumbled conversations the neighbors the next block over are having. Don't worry about privacy, nothing is clear enough to understand a word. It is the same with someone conversing with you in the same room. You get a great impression of Charlie brown listening to a class lecture, only amplified. The last straw was today when I tried to spare my family of the latest book and only the left bud will connect. It just so happens you have to have the right bud to do much of anything. So for the bargain price of about $8 per use I have come to the end of the lifespan of these buds. Not bad for what a jbl representative assure me is the quality that I should expect. I will end this 9-month journey by biting the bullet and looking at some samsung buds or maybe a pair of Raycons. ... show more

  • Sound Fantastic
Style: Headphones Color: Black
I was already familiar with the JBL headphones app as I also have the over ear JBL 660NC and they connect to the same app. The baked in eq is pretty good but is also very customizable if you don’t care for it. That said, these earbuds sound pretty fantastic. Definitely the best I’ve ever owned. I’d pay the full 200 for them (although I didn’t, I paid 79.99). The ANC (active noise canceling) also works well, particularly in regards to lower rumbling sounds. Some higher pitched sounds are more muffled than totally cancelled but when music is playing most noises are unnoticeable. I’ve had no issues with connecting the earbuds although it does seem to be a common problem. I can only speak for myself, I’ve had zero issues. ... show more

  • An INCREDIBLE Pair of JBL ANC Earbuds
Style: Headphones Color: Black
These JBL Tour Pro + sound AMAZING. As a Music Producer and Mix Engineer, I like to listen to different sources of music reproduction sound systems. Whether it be Studio Monitors, Over-Ear Studio Headphones or even High-End Earbuds, such as the SONY WF-1000XM4, which are worth EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR. So even though I do own those Sony XM4's, I still wanted something that had a bit of a higher IPX Rating as these JBL's do, they're rated IPX5. So after noticing how great the ANC was, I needed to make sure their sound reproduction was just as good, and BOOM, they certainly are. Just keep in mind to use their JBL App to set the EQ at your exact liking, and you will NOT be disappointed. I HIGHLY Recommend these JBL Tour Pro +. ... show more
