I was tired of the insane prices of new cell phones and had friends that have used amazon refurbished. I was hesitant because some reviews write about horror stories, I got a phone normally priced at $800 for $340, and based on some other reviews, half expected it to show up broken in half. It is nearly perfect. The ONLY imperfection is very very mild screen bubbles (I think maybe the screen was replaced) but for this price, I don't care. I also worried about refurbished items being previously used and something being installed that could steal my information. I use this phone when I'm driving which I do often, so I need my Bluetooth to work correctly. If you're Android is updated to version 14, the Android Auto does not work right with the Android Auto on my stereo. Now this is not about the pixel. 7. As much as it is an Android issue. Let me add. I am in Android only person. I really dislike iPhone. That being said, one time the phone links up perfectly the next time it works for everything except for phone calls. The next time it'll connect for phone calls, but there will be a 7 second delay from when you say something and the other person actually hears it. I am not one to leave reviews but this item deserves it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! After paying 500 plus dollars for a 'restored' phone I am stuck with a defective phone. This device gets hot to the touch after normal use and becomes inoperable. The screen doesn't work at all during these 'episodes' which are happening more frequently. Unable to use my GPS as the devices gets warm and screen stops working all together. The seller is not willing to confirm what was 'refirbished' on this device and unwilling to replace the phone. You think the A-Z claim will protect you and it won't. I've spent weeks trying to make this right and at this point it looks like I will be taking a 500 loss. I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! I received the phone in a timely manner. It was in good cosmetic condition. Very little markings on it at all. When I set the phone up and inserted my sim card, it indicated the sim card was not compatible. In checking, I found that the phone was locked to the AT&T network and not an UNLOCKED phone as was advertised in the listing. I was very disappointed. The seller, being a third party, is out of stock and my only option was to return the phone for a refund and have to make a new purchase at a higher price (when I purchased the phone last week several sellers were offering discounts that are not being offered this week). Lesson Learned to not trust Amazon Refurbished phones to be unlocked as indicated in the listing. As big as Amazon is, I think there should be a registry that they would require the sellers to enter the imei into for the phone they are selling to verify that it is unlocked when they list it as an unlocked phone. The information is available on the web and it would prevent a lot of fraudulent activity on Amazons site. ... show more
