  • A Clever, Heartfelt Indie Card Game Full of Player Interaction
As a board gamer (and someone who designs board games for fun) I can really feel the love and care that went into Good Guy Bad Guy Not So Smart Guy. It’s clearly a passion project, and I believe it’s self-published, which makes me appreciate it even more. It takes real courage and persistence to bring a game into the world. What I love The cards are high quality—matte, not glossy—so they’re easy to read from any angle. The graphic design is simple yet charming, with numbers that cleverly reflect the characters. The pacing is fast and keeps everyone engaged from start to finish. It’s easy to learn but still gives room for smart plays and light strategy. It feels genuinely joyful to play, especially with family or friends. What I like less It gets a bit chaotic at higher player counts, but that’s part of its lively charm. Summary Good Guy Bad Guy Not So Smart Guy is a well-crafted, endearing indie card game that radiates creativity and care. Between its thoughtful design, high-quality components, and family-friendly fun, it deserves a spot on any shelf—especially if you love supporting independent creators. ... show more

  • Fun for the whole family
Fun game, but a lot smaller than I was expecting. From some of the pictures, it looks like it's a lot bigger (not that the size really matters), so I figured I'd include a picture of me holding the deck. I think I actually like that it's only a deck of cards, so it'll be easier for us to take on family trips, etc. My family loves playing games, and sometimes it's hard to find a game that all of us can play together, so it's nice that this one is up to 6 players. I also like that it's something fun that even the younger kids can play too, and be competitive with. ... show more
