I ordered 2, thinking about ordering another one. First thing. No slit, no problem. I bought some more expensive ones(king size) and those had 4 slits. 4. I’m thinking about sowing them shut because if I can get in so can mosquitoes. Honestly, haven’t set these bad boys up, but the concept it’s simple. Lift it. Second, and the real reason I’m giving it 5 stars. Yeah it’s “cheaply” made, BUT.. I just got Velcro stuck on it. It was terrible. GET Velcro away from this material. Unfortunately I got it pretty stuck on like 3 inch thick Velcro. It was terrible. It’s suppose to be cheap, and cheaply made. Right? WRONG. I was like that’s it. Its done for. I couldn’t gently undo it from the velcro. I had to pull, not super hard but kind of, the way you have to with Velcro. Well afterwards, not one single hole. Yeah it messed with the fabric a bit, like it got some fuzz from it, but not a single hole(other than the million holes it comes with, ba dum ts). IT HELD UP AGAINST VELCRO. So, yeah maybe it is cheap, but it’s sturdy. I don’t even know if the seams are sturdy, I just know the net is so soft and it survived against some very aggressive Velcro. I’m impressed. I’m gonna stay impressed for a long while. Cause I was sure it was ruined. I was going to sow it in any case, but now there’s no need. Yay. ... show more

Perfect for my needs! So my net does not have an opening and it’s fine. I’ll just roll it up and down. I put it around my outdoor reading share and it fits perfectly. I can see why people complained about the holes being big because they are a bit big and no see-ums will get through. We have huge mosquitoes in Texas so I think this will be fine for Those. Early in the morning when the no see-ums come out maybe not but for the price it’s perfect and I don’t even need to hang it because it hits the floor just right. ... show more

I'm tired of trying All the sprays, lotions, and scents I'll just leave them be Mosquitos have been a huge problem for me here in Central Texas. For years. I've tried all sorts of insecticides and repellents. All-natural, most definitely not all-natural, zappers, swatters, bracelets, ultrasonic sound devices, and more. It is a constant battle, so I've decided to call a truce and see if both sides can just co-exist peacefully. I just want us to co-exist in our own personal spaces. So I bought this mosquito net and hung in on a nail on my patio arbor and positioned my old-man rocking chair right under it. The net now completely surrounds me and my chair when I am outside. It seems to work. I still see the pesky things buzzing all around, lusting for me through the netting, but they don't get through. I can read or visit or contemplate life in peace. Plus, I feel kinda fancy sitting on my royal throne covered with soft, gauzy curtains. It is a good length & width and easy to hang. It is just ever so slightly too delicate for my purposes, which is why it is a four-star instead of five. The first day, the back of my rocker caught the bottom and ripped a small hole in it. This product is average. It took a few weeks to arrive to the United States from China. The top of the net has a flexible wire that I had to manipulate so it would be centered.I shall had to play around with the netting so it would not be lopsided.there is no hook to attach to the ceiling for you to hang it sop I had to buy that. I had to cut an opening in it since there was no opening. It comes to the queen size mattress but not to the floor. I have had several of these in the past and I guess since it's very inexpensive you can't expect too much. If you want something high quality spend the extra money. I think if you have a baby crib or small single bed this would be ok but I don't think it is good for a queen size. It is not a jumbo size as advertised. I had an alternative use in mind when I bought this. I wanted a sheer curtain that would go all around my double egg glider to give a light ethereal vibe and of course block out bugs. This worked perfectly. There is a circle wire hoop at the top with a hanging loop but it worked well enough just placed on top of my glider frame, which is excellent. There is no split opening in the netting, so I used some magnetic curtain tiebacks to hold it in place and open when I don’t want to have it covered completely. Unlike a sheer curtain, the netting is open enough to keep the air and breeze coming through but small enough to keep out mosquitoes. I love it. The dogs didn’t care either way. ... show more
