I didn't get the one I selected which was the one piece. I got the one that has 2 pieces inside. It's nice and I will wear it but I don't think that it looks like real gold as others have stated. These earrings are very chic and spruce up most outfits. They are not too heavy, are shiny, and the hammered look provides a heightened style piece. They do get "off track" and have to be reset but other than that they are great earrings.
