This trellis is heavy so it is sturdy and stable, even when there’s big wind. It can support the plant well as they can climb up easily and the space is ample for them to grow. It is also easy to assemble.

Since I only had white duct tape, you can see how many joints I had to tape in order to put it together. It’s ok - since I’m in Florida I’ll have to figure out how to tie it down even for the smallest wind gusts.

I am using this for passion fruit and not cucumbers. It's doing a great job climbing the trellis. For whatever reason I don't have good luck with cucumbers; but, an having good luck with passion fruit and squash.

I ordered this arched garden trellis based on the seller's description and exaggerated claims as well as the over-the-top 5 star reviews. What a complete disappointment. Out of the box, all the parts look great. Instructions and photos are clear and concise. The poles/tubes are .43" in diameter ( just over 2/5"). Each of the plant clips had to be checked to remove sharp bits of plastic that would damage the plant stem. The plastic covered tubes do NOT fit snuggly into the plastic fittings. The least little movement and the tubes pop loose. I even tried pounding them together with a rubber mallet. Once finally assembled, I stood inside the arched trellis and picked it up by the bottom poles to move the assembly to a raised garden bed 25' away. By the time I got there, several of the tubes had popped loose from the fittings. The location varies based on where tension is placed on the fittings. I tried again and again with no success. I used the mini zip ties to attach the netting during which more of the frame tubes popping out. The only way I can make this work is to either wrap tape around each end of the tube or use adhesive caulk. That means more time and expense for a DIY project that should have been ready to go in 15 minutes. The assembled trellis is very lightweight and will only support flowering vines and small vining veggies. It is also not strong enough to handle strong winds. At a price tag of $30, I expected a sturdy, good quality trellis and clips. Bottomline: NOT recommended

This climbing plant trellis needs assembly. It comes with the required parts and relevant accessories such as the frame tubes, connectors, netting, plant support clips, twist ties and assembly instructions. The installation is simple and easy. Just follow the instructions and connect the frame tubes with the plastic connectors. Then, put the netting over the frame for promoting the upright growth of the climbing plants. The attached twist ties can be used to fix the netting on the trellis. The plant support clips are used to fix the plants on the frame tubes or the netting. In fact, by using the tubes and connectors, you may DIY your own support frame for your needs. The assembly instructions only illustrated the assembly of a climbing plant trellis. The frame tubes are made of alloy steel with spiral shaped to enhance friction. They also have PE coated finish that is durable and rust resistant. However, the attached connectors are not tight enough to securely hold the tubes. Some connectors even loose that cause the tubes fall down or separate easily when lifting or having strong movement of the trellis. If the frame tubes cannot be securely connected, there may have risks of destruction either by storm or the growth of the climbing plants. When the plants are tied on the tubes, strong wind will also cause violently swing that may lead separation of the tubes from the loose connectors. This trellis is for my tomatoes plant. It’s tall and big enough to meet my need. However, in concern of the sturdiness and avoids future remedies, I will re-assembly it by adding tapes on each end of the tubes to make them firmly insert into the connectors.

This is a very interesting concept and I really like the idea. It takes a little time to build it, but the materials are well made and allow for multiple size situations. Everything is included; even the netting for additional gripping for the cucumbers. It is sturdy and heavy duty. Highly recommended.

This trellis comes with a page of printed instructions and a list of parts. It may be assembled at a smaller size, in different configurations. At full size, it is quite unstable and needs some anchoring, which is not provided. All parts are well made, and all were included in the right quantity in the package that I got. The plastic connectors are the weakest links in the assembly, and the way this is designed they do take quite some load under use. All parts fit together well, with no excessive force needed. I expect getting many years of good use from this trellis.

This is a decent-sized trellis that goes together easily and is well enough made. It needs to be firmly positioned in the ground and is not super heavy-duty. I can see that in some situations it might need a bit of bolstering, but overall it works as a decent scaffolding for vining veggies.
