Before buying, my biggest concern was that the lawn would get torn up by the dogs’ claws, or that urine wouldn’t drain properly and cause a bad smell. I’m writing this fake grass tiles follow-up review after two weeks of use, and this lawn is indeed very durable. My two dogs weigh over 100 jin combined, and even when they chase each other around on it, the grass blades stay upright—they don’t get flattened against the ground. The drainage is better than I expected—urine flows directly through the holes onto the floor tiles, the surface dries quickly, and with a bit of sun, the odor is practically gone. It’s also easy to rinse; just aim the hose at it, and the dirty water flows away down the slope. The only thing to watch out for is that if the ground underneath is solid, I recommend raising one edge slightly; otherwise, the water will drain down but not flow away, making the whole thing pointless. Overall, it’s much easier to maintain than laying those full rolls of artificial turf. ... show more
