This martini shaker is seriously beautiful. It’s very thick glass so a bit heavy but I don’t mind. I am not using it for martinis but instead for mouthwash to keep my counter useful but still beautiful. I def wouldn’t want to shake this thing for long cause of the weight. I bought this as a gift and the recipient loved it! However, we had drinks together and as I watched her pour our drinks, my heart sank. This shaker really leaks at the seal! I love making cocktails at home! This is such a beautiful tool. I will say that it is very HEAVY. this is great for me because it means its great quality but I do have small/ slightly weak hands so it can be a little struggle to shake cocktails. Honestly this is worth it for how beautiful it is. Just saying if you have small carpal tunnel hands like me, check the sizing if it will work for you ... show more

There are many comments that this shaker leaks. If you test it while washing it with hot water yes it is going to leak because the hot water is becoming pressurized and it’s pushing the top off. If you use it to make alcoholic beverages, which include ice this shaker does not leak. It is perfect.

Super pretty, feels like great quality. Just remember that the glass shaker is heavier and makes it a bit harder to shake compared to all metal, but it is not a big deal for me. I’m happy with it!

I was very hesitant to add this to my shaker collection after reading some of the reviews complaining about its leakage. I see what may be the cause of these complaints and say if used correctly and with caution it will not leak. As long as the silicone gasket is in place correctly it will not leak. In fact it is a very tight seal. What I do to be sure the top fits into the glass securely is to wet the gasket before putting it into the glass. This can be done by rubbing the gasket with the garnish being used or a little dip of the finger into the mixture for some lubricant. Happy Mixology! ... show more
