  • Price aside, they’re fantastic.
Once you get over the sticker shock these clippers perform fantastic. I can’t imagine a better set, they cut gates off models absolutely flat without leaving those white stress marks from the plastic being stretched. Cleanup with a razor is painless. Now is it worth the money? That depends. If you’re an occasional hobbyist, probably not. If you’ve got a big collection to build like I do, then good tools are worth it. A couple of complaints though. The return spring on mine isn’t overly strong so I have to pull them apart sometimes with larger gates, that’s a little more hand fatigue when you’re going though a bunch of models at once. Also the cutting edge is fairly small so you can’t get it in there sometimes. You’ll need to use another pair of cutters to trim the sprue around the gate to get a better angle. The small cutting surface is probably a reason they cut so clean so be aware you’re trading speed for the absolute nicest cut if you spend the time. Great product, just expensive. ... show more

  • Expensive for a reason
Bought these to help with cleaning up 3D resin prints / trimming supports on (very fragile) miniatures. Definitely expensive, but absolutely worth it. Had trouble with other nippers either being too dull or too large or a combination of the two. These nippers are very light but cut clean (little to no tension applied to surrounding bits that you DON'T want to clip, which is often a problem with 3d printed stuff), and the size makes them perfect for getting into tight spots ... show more

  • Black magic at work
Hah... hah hah hah. HAHAHHAHA WOW. Holy smokes! So I have been building Warhammer models for almost a decade now and I have built somewhere over a thousand models. Who knows how many hours spent carefully snipping models from sprues, cleaning mold lines, and gluing them together. I know my way around a sprue. I recently received some Amazon gift cards and decided to treat myself to some new nippers as my old pair (Xuron) have been in steady use for many years and they got the job done... and they are fine, really, but I didn't have anything else I really NEEDED so I decided to splurge on these and see if there was really a $40 difference between standard nippers and God Hands. I was skeptical about how different these could possibly be over my old ones. I mean... they're flush cutters.. how big of a change could there possibly be? After opening the God Hands, I tried snipping a spare piece of sprue that I had lying around and. WTAF. I literally giggled at how smooth the cut was. It was completely effortless and silent. No "click" when the piece is cut... just a ridiculously clean slice. I pulled out my old snips and cut the sprue just to test them against each other. The old ones left obvious stress marks on the plastic from the pinching and made the familiar audible snapping sound when cutting through. The new God Hands nippers just slide through the plastic leaving no stress marks and making no sound. Its F-ing uncanny. Almost creepy how smooth and effortless. So. Yeah, I am sold. These things are so vastly superior to my old snips... even after a couple of test cuts, it is obvious that there is no going back. If you build models frequently, you need these things. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case. Would buy again. 10/10 ... show more

  • Worth every cent
I’ve heard people say these aren’t worth the money but I disagree. The amount of time I save sanding and the clean cuts I get with these make up for the cost. They are fragile however, after at least 4-5 years and who knows how many kits my first pair gave up the ghost. Only thing to be careful of is using these to cut clear parts, it can damage the blade if you aren’t careful. And as always DON’T use these to cut parts from the runners, use a separate set of nippers for that. ... show more

  • This is the best pair of snip snip that I have ever owned
This is the best pair of snip snip that I ever owned, and I finally understand what the Drake song God's Plan is about. He was really talking about God Hand snippers, but he didn't want anyone to know that he builds Gunpla so he changed it to God's Plan. This snip snip is bladed, and it cuts super clean. It makes working on Gunpla so much easier because there is less clean-up to do in terms of sanding and buffing white nubs. If you follow the directions for this pair of nippers, then there will hardly be any white nubs. This has been my experience; I get a clean cut everytime. I highly recommend God Hands snip snip. ... show more

  • Intimidating price, incredible performance
I'd always heard that these were the best, but had been put off by the price. Finally, after years of eyeing them I decided to splurge and give them a shot. I'm sad I waited so long because these are amazing. You still probably want a cheap pair to cut directly off the sprue, but for cleanup these can't be beat. They cut through plastic like butter and leave a nearly flush cut to the plastic. ... show more

  • Scary how sharp these are
Love this product when snipping out parts. Only complaint is the paranoia that comes with using them. Tons of warnings about how fragile they are.

  • Well worth the price
I initially thought that these were just over priced hobby nippers but decided to splurge a little since my old nippers were getting full on me. All I can say is wow, night and day difference. Cutting parts off of sprues with these is like cutting through butter with a warm knife, practically zero resistance, very smooth cut. Would highly recommend to someone looking to get a quality set of nippers. ... show more
