I have been getting these turkey tendons for my shihtzus for over 13 years. And over the years sometimes the product changes a little. And whenever I reach out to the company, I am given fast, courteous, and most importantly, honest, transparent explanation of what caused the slight changes. Many years ago the tendons were more translucent. When it became a bit more opaque, I reached out. I was told about the slight change and I felt these are safe, nutritious, highly digestible, limited ingredient snack I can feel good about giving my dogs. The texture is great for small dogs, I just take kitchen scissors and cut it a bit thinner for their small mouths, or cut them into little bits to put in their puzzles or wobble toy for play time. They absolutely love the taste and it is easy to give. There is no odor, doesn’t leave any smell or residue behind and I have not met a dog that has ever rejected this treat. I also use it as reward for training sessions and it has worked very well for over a decade. The quality and their track record gives me confidence in having these as part of our regular treats. Most recently I got a batch that was quite brown, looking different than the light yellowishtan color and again I reached out. I received an email back within 24 hours with a thorough explanation of the process, and the glycerin content. Depending on the batch they can be light tan to very dark brown. These are not burnt. And it does not affect quality or freshness. My shihtzus are super picky. I tried giving one of the dark brown ones and sure enough, they are super picky shihtzu approved.

I can't recommend these turkey dog snacks enough! My dog absolutely loves them — in fact, she’s been eating them for years and still gets excited every time I pull out the bag. They must be delicious because she practically begs for them, and I’ve never seen her get so excited about any other treat. The turkey flavor seems to be her favorite, and I love that they’re made with quality ingredients. The only downside is that they’re so addictive for her (and, let’s be honest, for me too) that I seem to spend a small fortune buying them. She devours them so quickly, I’m constantly restocking! But I’m willing to splurge because it’s clear how much she enjoys them, and I trust that these treats are made with good, healthy ingredients. If you’re looking for a high-quality treat that your dog will absolutely adore, these turkey snacks are a fantastic choice. Just be warned — they might become your dog’s new obsession, and your wallet might feel it! But it’s worth it for the joy they bring.

Both of my Chewinnies love these! That is not a common accuracies in my house. It’s usually my female will like something so much that I give some to her brother. He won’t even look at me after letting him try it. Like he is saying,” do you get the hint here..... just cause she likes it doesn’t mean I do.” The same thing happens with her. I find something her brother absolutely loves. When I give some to herI get the feeling she would say the same to me. If they could talk! So I end up having to buy more treats in order to give each one of them their favorites!! I have spent a great deal of time, and money, and continue to do so, trying to find treats, that my fur twins LOVE. The only way to know if they will like something is to buy it and see what they do when I give them one. It can get expensive and a waste of money if they don’t like them. I know many of you treat your dog/dogs as a member/members of your family, just as I DO. So I know you want to give them a treat they really are excited about. One that they love. I would give these a try. I gave one to 2 neighbors to try; 1 neighbor has a large dog, mixed breed. The other has a Labradoodle. They both LOVED THEM. These treats are wonderful. No heavy odor. No greasy hands after touching them and very easy to digest. They have become the favorite treat for both of my dogs.

These are okay and affordable for a treat, but they don't keep my 23 lb senior dog busy longer than a minute or so. She bites through it and chews up the chunks. There's also a slight chemical odor.

My fussy little girl enjoys these processed Turkey Tendon Sticks as a treat. They are easy to chew and will not stab or injure her. I will assume that they taste good because of the fact that she enjoys eating them without being encouraged. The size is perfect for my 25 lb. dog. She's on her second bag of them and we have not witnessed any digestive issues.
