  • Fun Game
My daughter received this as a Christmas gift, she loves it! The graphics are a bit dated for the Switch, but that doesn't seem to faze her at all. She loves the freedom of the game, you can pursue different activities and from what I've seen, it seems like there are several different options when you're playing. Your avatar can jump onto a jet ski to cruise around the island. Her usual favorite Switch games are Mario Kart Deluxe or Sports, and was happy that she's enjoying this as much as she is. ... show more

  • Best simple open world
Best fun I've had in a long time. So many things to do in this game with fifty activities on four resort locations and it is fun fun fun. And if you need something a little more engaging than a stressing and boring puzzle and a little more enjoyable and a lot less frustrating than the tedious GTA, This is it. You can relax, walk around and play some games and your friends can join in. Even in single mode, this is great. You can use an ATV or in-line skates or mini bikes or skis, and the list goes on. And you get your own dog to go along with you. I highly recommend getting this game you will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • This game is better than Wii Sports Resort could ever hope to be...and it doesn’t even realize it.
What I was expecting from Go Vacation: Fun mini-games. What I got from Go Vacation: four areas to explore, either alone or with up to three Miis or two Miis and a dog, food trucks in each location to eat at, various vehicles for each area (ATV, marine bike, inline skates, skateboard, skis, snowboard, snowmobile, snow tube, horse, off-road vehicle, kayak, horse), treasure chests in hard to reach areas, daily gifts, at least one Pac-Man reference in each location, animals to photograph, a villa to customize to my heart’s content, unlockables galore, and most importantly: grind rails. No, seriously. I love all of the areas, but the city is easily my favorite. I never got into skating as a kid or teen, but lately I’ve had a desire to play a skating game, and the city area was like a wish come true. Half-pipes, grind rails, speedy grind rails, and the city (much like all the areas) looks great at night. There are also grind rails in the snow resort, but they just feel slow. That’s probably the only complaint I have, though. The rest of the snow resort is fun, but it’s honestly my least favorite of the four resorts, but yeah. In conclusion, all I have to say is this: Go Vacation > Wii Sports Resort. ... show more

  • A childhood favorite
As a child, and this was one of my favorite games to play on the Wii and it is extremely nostalgic to once again be playing it. As far as differences go, the biggest difference would be the controls, and aside from that, majority of the game itself is exactly the same with the exception of a few minor details of where I live in, and a couple activities that were swapped out. Overall, it is still an enjoyable banger of a game. ... show more

  • Family friendly for sure
It is fun and can be challenging. Graphics are a bit basic and I would like more customization options for the avatars.

  • Runs great on Switch Lite!
This is a great game. In addition to activities, there are many beautiful locations to explore, treasure chests, cute animals to find and more. Runs just fine on Switch Lite which has a few motion controls built in. I would rank it as casual gaming. The controls are not complicated and it's possible to win events even if you are not a hard core gamer. ... show more
