Came in perfect condition. This is not an easy thing to do! It works great if you align the pan correctly! I learned the hard way. Took me 3 tries before I finally figured it out.

Bought GM genuine to avoid issues with aftermarket. Installation went well but even with silicone placed as recommended, there was still a leak from the rear on both sides. I redid the job twice, each time applying more silicone but still leaked. Then I noticed that this gasket is formed from multiple pieces of metal that are keyed together. The original that I removed was one solid piece. Also, like 1 other review said, the rear section that was spliced in was not the same thickness as the rest of the gasket ... show more

Our old gasket was leaking BAD! Left a nice coat of oil everywhere under the car. Replaced this, the oil pump pick up o ring, and installed the oil relief bypass shield on the oil pan. No more leaks, oil pressure is better, and am satisfied knowing that valve isn’t dousing the underside of my pistons with oil spray ... show more
