This comforter has worked really great for us this winter. I am always cold and my husband is always too hot while sleeping. With this comforter we seem to have found the best comfort level so far. I do still need an extra blanket on my side but I don't wake up sweating because the entire comforter has been pushed over onto me in the middle of the night. The only thing is it's a little stiff feeling against my face. It's not soft and cozy feeling but I suspect this will improve with use. It is very thin looking but it really does keep me warm in the Montana winter with the heat turned down to 55F at night. I recommend this for couples who have the same hot & cold sleeping issues. I also think this would work really well in the spring and fall and maybe even summer if, like me, you like to have that comforting weight on you to sleep well.

The good: It's light weight - my husband doesn't like having something heavy enough that it forces his feet to bend It fits - we have a king bed and the king is big enough to tuck in at the end and it covers what it needs to cover on both sides of the bed It's warm - we keep the heat at 64 and I'm still sticking a foot out at night, so it is warm The bad: It's warm - when it isn't cool in the room, you can feel your body heat being trapped and it just gets too hot. We have a sheet and then the comforter - no duvet cover, no blankets. There is no way this will be on the bed spring to early fall in the south for us.

I was happy enough with my old lightweight IKEA feather duvet but it was an odd size and did not fill my cover properly. This duvet exceeded expectations. It is super lightweight which I need or I’ll overheat, but warm even on the coldest nights. I live in the NE US so we do get cold winters. Very happy with this product.
