Very nice and cute. I've only worn them out once, and it was a comfortable trip. I have only 2 observations that reduced them from a 5 stars to a four stars. 1. Personally I'm not crazy about lug souls, and 2. Doing the 'set-up' is annoying. You have to adjust the laces from the bottom to the top, which requires taking them on and off several times (if you're doing this alone). Now hopefully they don't migrate during wearing and taking them on and off. Fit: I feel they fit just a tad bit tighter that "fit as expected", but that was not an option during this Review. I consider knee boots to be cold weather wear and I like to wear Smartwool Knee Socks for winter. The more thick-ish / heavy weight socks make the boots fit a little tight. I may search for thinner socks....but the ones I wear are my preference for cold weather...so soft and fluffy. We'll see.

First off, I’ve read all the reviews measure your calf. With that being said, I put these boots a few months ago in my cart. They were $65 at that time then about a week ago they popped up they were only $32. So I purchased them these are not what I would call an expensive boot even at 65. Every year I buy a well-made leather boot I spend upwards of $150-$200 so with that being said when I buy a $35 boot, I’m not expecting a miracle just something fun to wear.. And that’s what these are they are cute. My calf is 14 inches they are a little big but that’s fine. I wear an 8 1/2 I had on my husbands socks when I tried them on to see how big they would feel and I will say that if you are true to your size, and you don’t plan on wearing an extra thick sock, I might consider going down half a size bed for me. I was OK with it. Just because they have laces does not mean that they will make a serious difference on your calf. It’s more of a decoration as with the style that has the buckle at the top. They are not leather they are fabric or plether. The heel is about an inch and a half and it’s fairly quiet on tile and wood floors. I don’t know if they’re waterproof but it wouldn’t hurt to put a little waterproofing on them since they are fabric. I wear mine with a moderate sock and pants tucked in again I have a 14 inch calf I believe that these would work for someone all the way up to a 16 inch. They are cute, but these are not shoes that you invest a lot of money in. That’s why they’re in the fashion section if you wear them every day, you probably won’t get more than three months out of them, but I plan on wearing them as a fashion shoe not every day.

They are wider at the calf than I would like and I cant lace them up tight enough but they are made well and look really nice. They just seem to be a little hard soled. I like them, just tuck my jeans in. them.

These boots are awesome! They are decent quality for the price, but look like they cost much, much more than they do. They are very comfortable! No break-in time, or painful blisters for me (which is not normal!) I have wide feet, but these absolutely fit without being too tight in the width. My calves are a bit bigger than the average woman, and I have plenty of room. They do lace up in the back which can tighten them a little bit, but it will not shrink them down much. If you have small calves, I think you might be disappointed. The icing on the cake is I get compliments EVERY TIME I wear them. I like them so much that I bought them in both black and brown. I am seriously contemplating purchasing the grey as well. Get 'em...you won't regret it!

I am in LOVE with these boots. Beautiful, great fit, classy AND sassy. I have worn them with jeans, dress, casual and even to a funeral. Everyone comments on them, and everyone asking where did you get these, I want a pair. Huge asset to this product, I have fairly small feet, ankles and calves are smaller but muscular. These boots are perfect at adjusting to your size. They keep you ankle secure so your able does roll easily, they can be loose or snug on your calves, my foot isn't 'squished' but it doesn't have room to slide in them as some of my more expensive boots do. There is AWESOME traction in the sole of the boot!!! If your looking for a boot with it all, THIS is it! The SELLER is GREAT! Fast shipping, well packaged, I WILL be ordering from this site again!!!

Maybe it’s just my foot but even though these boots are comfy and warm, the heel felt too hard as did the back of the ankle. I put insole/heel supporters in and the boots more comfortable now. On the other hand, the dye comes off these - at least the pair I got. The black dye rubs off on the hands and it seems like it scrapes off now and then if you scuff it against stairs ect. The toe looks like it’s scuffed a little and I’ve worn them twice. They are toasty and warm and look amazing with both leggings and jeans so I will see how long they last. Test the type of socks you will wear with these. I found thicker socks feel better than thin dress socks.
