I got them as a gift for my sister an she loved them it but when I put in her size it said to get 2 sizes bigger which I did an there a lil big on her feet comfortable an a 8 look very very smallmy sister has tinny feet an legs the leg was a lil big on her an so was the boots but with a extra pair of socks for perfectly she loves the boot however they do not look like the picture but much better in person I'm a boot person an it my feet an legs were small I'd wear these suckers very very nice looking boots in person the heel says chunky but not as chunky as the photo s look the heel is actually perfect for the boot so don't let the picture throw u off these are some very nice boots for the price I would have posted pictures but sister lives outta town an we done our Xmas early so she has them already but I really loved these boots an so does she cause all she talks about is her husband being mad that she always wearing my boots but not the ones he bought lol I hope this helps someone !!! Love the boots!!!!

The boots were super cute and seemed pretty good quality for the price. I ordered a 6.5 to leave room for thicker socks but they were really tight in the calves and seems big in the toes. I planned on keeping them until I stood up and realized how hard the soles were. I have foot pain and the stiffness was just too stiff. Sadly will be returning them.

I bought these to use as pirate boots for a costume for my tween kid for Halloween. (We currently wear the same size, so I tried them on for the purposes of this review.) They would be infinitely better with an insert, but these boots have all the comfort of a cheap rain boot only with the stiffness of a solid and completely unforgiving material that makes wearing them somewhat less than enjoyable. They worked great for the costume, and definitely looked awesome, but trick-or-treating for about an hour did lead to discomfort—there were a couple of mild complaints. I have only ever heard “I don’t want to stop, yet!” type of complaints during trick-or-treating. This time it was, “these boots aren’t good for running,” “I should have worn my tennis shoes,” and “I can’t wait to get these boots off.” Normally, these types of accessories get a lot of use after the event, playing with them and wearing them a lot, literally everywhere. Not so much with these and always with an extra set of footwear brought along to change into once the discomfort of wearing them outweighs the fun of wearing the “cool” boots. So… I would highly recommend an insert to go along with these boots if you intend to wear them for longer than a photo op, for necessary comfort and arch-support. So far they do seem to be holding up well to (even intermittent) rough tween-type use. They are dirty, but there are no signs of structural damage. They are like feet tanks. Haha

I read the reviews on these before purchasing and saw that many were having issues with getting the boots zipped. I have smaller calves and I could barely get these boots to zip. When I did, it was so tight it felt like I was loosing circulation in my leg lol. So unfortunately these are going back but I did really love the style and look!
