The fit is exactly as it should be. They are very comfortable for walking, and even though they withstood some water without any damage I wouldn't go as far as saying they wouldn't get ruined with water. True to size, I wear a size 8 regular (not wide) but it could fit a wider foot. I would order half a size larger if you plan on placing insoles in them. But he do recommend this.
