I got an 8.5 due to reviews and comments saying they run big (I mostly wear a 9 in boots and sneakers) about a year ago. They run huge. My feet are swimming in them, they feel like a size 10. The soles and boots are very flexible, yay. Kept them as there was no size close at the time, but I have to use insoles and wear 2 socks and there's still plenty of room. Having said that, they are comfortable and sturdy. I've worn them walking in the forest and walking my dog a lot and they still look good. I agree with everyone that they run large- I'm usually a 10, but I got the 9.5. They're still a little big, but for someone like me with wider feet, having a toe box that doesn't smush my feet is a fantastic thing. I live in Wyoming, where it's often below freezing with high winds, and these are some of the warmest boots. I love the faux fur, it gives some nice cushion. I really appreciate that they seem to be made for people with wider feet- i can easily slip them on and off. And they are really, really cute. They go with jeans, leggings, skirts... just a great find. ... show more

I don't usually review things but I spent so much time looking at options and read many reviews for these so here's what I would've wanted to hear: The overwhelming consensus was that they run big. I deliberated to order a half size or a whole size down, and I'm glad I ordered a whole size down from 8 1/2 to 7 1/2. I have average feet, not wide or narrow, and average calves. These are slightly roomy (approx 1/2 inch around my whole foot) but should be perfect with thick socks. I'd recommend ordering one and half sizes down, unless you have wide feet. Even if you want to wear thick socks, if you have average sized feet get one and half sizes down. Other than that, they are amazing, beautiful, what you can expect from an affordably priced shoe. Received these today and I was so excited. Tried them on right away. I noticed that the bottoms feel hard and not the kind of rubber I was hoping for. They do have tread so I'm hoping they won't be slippery. The left boot fits great but the right one feels a size bigger. I've never had a problem with this before with any other shoes. They are pretty loose around the too of my feet. The fur around the ankle is lovely. More of a sherpa fur the rest of the way down inside, which is fine. I really want to wear them but not sure yet. These boots run way too big I even want a size down and I really love them and I return them and I promised to return and now it’s been three weeks and I return two things in the same box the way it came and I got my return for the shirt but not for the boots and now they’re telling me another two weeks. I would not buy these boots because you may have the same problem. ... show more
